    Green Renovations

Starting Tuesday, May 31 st we will beginrenovating green complexes on the entire

course. This means we will be going totemporary greens until the project is

    complete.

This project involves changing the currentgrass from Champion Bermuda to Paspalum.

The reason for such a change is that thePaspalum grasses are more resistant to thewater qualities we and other coastal regioncourses experience. This process should be

completed and our greens should be re-opening for Labor Day weekend.

Since we are renovating the greencomplexes the Rice Planters Amateur

Tournament for 2016 will be moving toRiverTowne Country Club.

During this period we have arranged for ourmembers to play other area courses at

special pricing. Please check with the pro-shop to book tee times at these courses.

We are very excited to undertake thisprocess that many great courses, such as

Kiawah Island, have undertaken. We feel asthough this will enhance the golfing

experience here at Snee Farm for many

years to come. Thank you for your patienceduring this time.
