Thank you to everyone who came out for our 72d Annual Open House. We had a great turnout and made over
$2000.00! A big thank you to Jan Golden and Pam Franckowiak on all their hard work with procuring raffle items
as well as Sheila Newcomb and Mary, Kevin and Corrina Pisano for all their help running open house. Thank
you to Bob Kouba and Eternal Water for their generous donation of bottled water for our open house. It was
definitely needed! We want to give a superhero thank you to Christina Neitzke-Troike for her generous donation
of vases and super hero capes for all of the campers
We also want to extend a huge thank you to all of the following individuals, groups, and businesses for their help the
past year. This is just a partial list and by no means includes all of the people we would like to personally thank for
their dedicated work and gifts. We hope that individuals not mentioned understand how much we truly appreciate

Thank you to everyone who worked our tag days at Jewel in Homer Glen July 12th & 13th. We raised
almost $2500.00 for camp! A huge thank you to Jewel for allowing us to use their location as one of our tag
day locations.
Thank you to Lisa Szajkovics's “Auntie Pam” for bringing out all kinds of goodies for our staff. Its things
like this that make our camp so unique and keep the staff returning year after year.
A huge thank you to the Homer Glen Knights of Columbus for organizing and running their 3rd Annual
5K Fun Run. Because of all their hard work, as well as the generosity of all the sponsors and those who
attended, the donation received was the biggest one yet, $4000.00! Also, thank you to Jan Golden for
making raffle baskets for the day’s event and raising $362.00 in addition to the Knights donation. It was an
awesome day and a wonderful event!
A BIG thank you to the Corcoran Family Foundation for their extremely generous donation to fund
scholarships for camp again this summer! The Corcoran Foundation has been gifting scholarships to
campers for over 5 years!! We truly can’t thank you enough for helping make a difference in so many
people’s lives
Thank you to Mike Burroughs and Johanna Mrzlock for hosting our staff welcome pizza party on
Saturday, June 15th. A good time was had by all with lots of full stomachs.
We want to thank Bob Stahurski from Nyco Products for his generous donation of cleaning, laundry and
kitchen products for camp. Bob has been a supporter of SOC for many years and we truly appreciate every
