F&F TOUR NOTES The Family & Friends (F&F) tour is designed to complement the Shakopee High School Band Tour to Ireland. The itinerary presented is subject-to-change once the concerts for the band are finalized in the coming months. All details regarding the tour are on the tour registration site. Please note that this site is separate from the main SHS Band tour registration site. We want to be clear that the flights, hotels, bussing, guides, and most restaurants will be separate from the band. The itinerary is very similar, but we will operate on a slightly different daily schedule, since the F&F tour does not need to rehearse for concerts and many times sightseeing venues cannot accommodate 250+ passengers at the same time. We will facilitate attendance at all of the SHS Band concerts and there will be no admission charges. The F&F tour will use group air services from Minneapolis to Dublin. This most likely will be on Delta/KLM. The space is just coming into inventory for 2020 and will be secured before the end of the 2019 school year. A land-only package will be available for those wishing to secure their own individual air ticket. Group tickets often do not allow for upgrades in class-of-service or online seat selection. If these are priorities for you then you should strongly consider a land-only package and purchase your own airfare. Do not make and air ticket purchase until the tour is announced as viable with a minimum of 35 participants. Registration is limited and your online tour registration will be confirmed with the initial tour deposit.
