Why the PrincessD Menstrual Cup Having worked with communities for over a decade, Irealisedtherewasadireneedtoresearchthemenstrualcup as a sustainable solution formenstruation becauseimpoverished girls miss school for up to 7 days in amonth. Early in 2016, I launched PrincessDMenstrualCupwhichiscost-effective,eco-friendlyandhygienic. In2017, I acquired doubleOlympic Gold and tripleWorldChamp Caster Semenya as a brand ambassador andcoowner of the company. Currently the product isavailable in over 20 countries and 50 pharmacies inSouthAfrica.TodateIchangedthelivesofthousandsofschoolgirls“keepinggirlsinschool”,inover80schoolsinSouthAfricathroughcorporatefunding.
PROJECT AIM The main aim was to provide disadvantaged girls in rural areas with a basic need during menstruation and keep them in school but we realised that girls and women everywhere need this eco-friendly, sustainable solution.
The PrincessD Menstrual Cup is the ideal solution as it lasts for up to 12 hours. The cup is reusable, lasting up to 10 years, and it can hold 3 times as much liquid as a normal sanitary product. Specially designed to care for the well-being of every green goddess!

Emptying and washing your cup Wipewithtoiletpaperoremptyyourcup,thenwashandreinsert.Thecupcanbeleftinforupto12hoursatatimedependingontheflow.Youcanalsosleep,swimorengageinanysportingactivitywithconfidenceasitprovidesleak-freeandodourlessprotection.
Sterilizing your cup Attheendofyourcycle,washyourPrincessDMenstrualCupinlukewarmwater.Thenputitintothecompact,foldablesterilizercup,withthestematthebottomandthecupinanuprightposition.Topthesterilizercupwith250ml(1cup)boilingwaterandleaveasidefor10-15minutes.Thenleaveittodryandputawayinthecottonbagfornextmonth.Forwomenonthego–youcanstoreyourmenstrualcupinthesterilizercup(itfoldsintothesizeofthelid).
