January is the perfect time and provides the perfect excuse to get out and try something new … particularly when so many activities,

groups, clubs, classes, concerts and lectures surround you as a resident of Shannondell.

our fitness gurus Michelle and Stacy remind you that there’s nothing more comforting than swimming, walking or taking a class in 88-degree water when the snow’s flying outside. From Water Walking to Hydro-Pilates, your choices are many. Likewise, our group leaders invite you to join them for camaraderie and laughs as they socialize and learn together. the Book Discussion Group begins Caleb’s Crossing by Geraldine Brooks in January and the Non-Fiction Book Club turns the page on Rage and Rebellion Across the Islamic World by robin Wright. More options abound on the pages that follow.

So, don’t let the cold gray days of the new year keep you all bundled up. Get out and try something new. you’ll feel better when you do.
