Description:
This document explains you the various possibilities to engage with OuiShare's Sharitories project, created together with ForumPA a leading Italian firm in innovation for Public Administrations and Governance. Sharitories is a global project with a very practical scope: to create a Collaborative Territories Toolkit for local policy-makers around the world who wish to implement collaborative or sharing initiatives in their local areas and help them thrive. Sharitories was born in June 2014 through OuiShare, a global community and think and do-tank with the mission to build and nurture a collaborative society by connecting people, organizations and ideas around fairness, openness and trust. ---- Territories are the best strategic context to nurture and develop the collaborative economy and local governments play a crucial role in facilitating this process. The collaborative economy already exists de facto in many places around the world, although policy-makers and public officials might not yet be fully aware of it and its potential. Sharitories highlights the emerging collaborative practices with a positive potential for territories development and innovation, and helps local governments understand how to best deal with the new scenarios. Sharitories is building the Collaborative Territories Toolkit, empowering local authorities to implement the collaborative economy locally in three phases: Understand, Facilitate and Build. The sharing economy can help a territory reach its goals: around sustainability, local investment, efficiency and community. Sharitories looks at territories through a collaborative lens, seeking to understand how existing local development challenges may be approached with a logic of sharing, openness and collaboration.
