The memorial consists of 26 chairs that are constructed out of steel tube with a reflective finish. Below each chair will be a stone plaque with the names of the 26 students and teachers whose lives were taken. Mid- way up the legs of the chairs will be places that allow people to leave flowers making it appear as though the chairs are resting on a cloud of foliage. On December 14th of every year the flow- ers will be replaced with candles in a ceremony to commemo- rate the anniversary. The ideal location of the memorial would be in Ram Pasture allowing the 15’ tall structures to be the focal point within the landscape.
