Shiraz is a good example of why Tyler shells are so sought after when looking for a quality boat. She has been kitted out for long term cruising with 495W of solar added recently. The powerful Yanmar Barrus Shire 45 is suitable for river cruising along with the canals, and at 60 foot, she is capable of the whole connected system (just). Entering the boat into the front, cratch covered deck with drop down table and cushioned seating, there is plenty of storage in a seat locker. The port side contains a dedicated diesel tank for the diesel stove. The glazed front doors lead down into the light oak styled interior by Simpson Boats with later work by Hamilton boats. The saloon is open plan with the galley giving almost 21 feet of space. As previously mentioned, there is a diesel Bubble stove here opposite a cupboard with power and aeriels for a TV. A good sized sofabed sits opposite a radiator with shelf and a drop down table with folding stools sits under the side hatch. There is also a built in Welsh style dresser unit. The light and airy galley comprises of a central walkway and solid oak block tops either side with new Thetford oven, hob and sink. A 12v fridge is under with a microwave available also. This area was all new in 2016. Through the lovely arch into the bedroom, either side are good sized wardrobes. The bed has lots of storage underneath with wheeled boxes, the calorifier is also hidden away here. Into the bathroom/utility area, the Indesit washing machine is underneath the airing cupboard. The bathroom itself is light and has an extractor above the 1/2 bath. A shower with thermostatic mixer is fitted and a sliding screen runs down the side of the bath. A brand new Thetford Cassette toilet is fitted and there are 3 cassettes hidden away cleverly on board. The rear cabin consists of fixed seating either side with storage underneath, rising to the engine boards level. The fixed seating can be used as a second double berth with the central boards inserted. The battery bank is very accessible along with plenty of storage. There is a cupboard here too. Up the steps to the rear steering position, an unecumbered view along the sleek lines of this Tyler shell with scrolled cants and handrails. The steering position is good and the solar panels do not obstruct the view when cruising. Shiraz has been used for extended holidays but is kitted out for living aboard and cruising the waterways permanently if so required. Her lovely lines and smart paintwork make her a very sought after boat in todays market, she will not be around long. Shiraz 01327 342211 [email protected]
