For decades, technology has been dramatically changing not just the lives of individuals in developed countries, but increasingly the lives and livelihoods of people throughout the developing world. Whether it is a community mobile phone, a solar panel, a new farming practice, or a cutting- edge medical device, technology is altering the landscape of possibility in places where possibilities used to be scarce. This is a point of celebration, when we choose to embrace technology in every aspect in our life. Technology pushes our capabilities to the edge and allows us as a society to be more productive and advance. productive and we are thankful for that.

If a garment augmented with solar cells, it will embody enough electrical power to become a real source of energy. Solar fibers have been developed to create electrical energy whilst still being flexible enough to be woven into fabric which can then be developed in to wearable garments.
