DeliveryAll Orders are usually delivered via local express courier or FeDex in view of the high value item. Our

sales team will email customers with a tracking number as soon as the product is shipped. Shipping

duration ranges from 3-7 days depending on the location of the customer.

In the event that Fedex or other couriers return goods to us as undeliverable for any reason, additional

delivery charges may apply to cover the cost of re-delivery. If orders are subsequently cancelled, any

refund will have all delivery charges deducted from any refund amount given.

The Customer is solely responsible for custom tax and other charges applicable per shipment.

Return / Refund PolicyIn the unlikely event that goods need to be returned to us, it is imperative that a Return Policy is

obtained first to enable us to process your return as quickly and efficiently as possible.

A return policy is only effective for 7 days starting from the day the customer received the item.

The condition of a return policy:

1. The products is still factory sealed and unused. This includes the box and all the original accessories

contained within the box.

2. All shipping and insurance charges are the customers responsibility.

3. A restocking fee of 25% applies to the actual cost of the product bought excluding any other fee.

4. All other fee associated to the sales of the product will not be entitled for refund.

5. The return of the products must be shipped by FeDex and a tracking number must be provided to us

For products covered with international warranty, please send to your local service center for

repair/replacement by presenting the warranty card to them (this warranty card will be sent together

For products not covered with international warranty, please send to us by Fedex or DHL or other

reliable shipping company for repair. Kindly note that buyer is solely liable for any shipment lost-in-

IXY / IXUS - Canon IXY Series Digital Camera - These are Canon IXUS Digital Camera that are sold in

Japan as IXY Series with a different Model Numbers. They are exactly the same as the Canon IXUS

Series (sold outside Japan). All IXY series comes with English and Japanese languages in the user

interface and menus. English User Manuals will be provided in either a photocopied booklet or CD soft

copy. Customer can also download the English User Manual from the official site of the respective

manufacturers.

Current Available Colour - Means that we reserve the right to ship any available colour stock. This

enables us to provide you with lower price from easier inventory management. If you are after any

specific colour, please choose the product that has colours specifically mentioned in the product name.

12 Months International Warranty - 12 Months International Warranty refers to the products that

come with 12 month international warranty repair service, if you ordered such products, you can bring

the international warranty products to any local service centre for warranty claims and servicing. Theinternational warranty card will be sent together with your shipment. In the event your local warranty

service centers refuse to repair the product due to reasons that are beyond our control, kindly send the

product with the original warranty card to us and we will send them for repair with the manufacturer on

If your shipping location is classed as an Out of Delivery Area (ODA). Any shipments by

Fedex will impose an ODA charge. So even though you may specify Fedex/DHL/TNT/UPS as

your shipping option, we will automatically ship using EMS. An ODA charge can be an extra

USD 20 - USD 250 this is not quoted in our shipping fee in our shopping cart when you place

A: The Plan does not cover the cost of transport of the product, you can ship back the product to us

warranty period, replacement will be made with the same or an equivalent model based on

its' current market value at the discretion of Electron-World. As a general guideline, we will

replace you with products value as below: 

y  If the products were sent back to us for repair during the first year of purchase, we will

replace you with the same product or another product of similar value if we fail to repair the

products economically;

y  If the products were sent back to us for repair during the second year of purchase, we will

replace you with the same product or another product equivalent to 75% of the product

value will be awarded if we fail to repair the products economically;

y  If the products were sent back to us for repair during the third year of purchase, we will

replace you with the same product or another product equivalent to 50% of the product

value will be awarded if we fail to repair the products economically.

Please note that the above replacement value is served as a general guideline only and we

do not guarantee that such value will be honored as the replacement value will be

dependable on the market value of the products that you purchased.

The Extended Warranty operates on the same terms & conditions as the Manufacturer's

Warranty for the period of the extension. Our warranties generally cover parts and labor 

costs resulting from a mechanical or electrical failure of the camera caused by defects in

workmanship and/or materials.

Q: Warranty - What is extended warranty plus?

A: Extended Warranty Plus is a service offered by Electron-World at the time of purchase thatextends the Warranty period on selected hardware products up to a total of 3 years plus return Door

to Door Delivery cost for both ways of shipment. This is most suitable for customer who does not

want the hassle of going to post office to ship back the items. We are using express courier service

for all shipment such as UPS, Fedex or DHL. The shipment will be picked up from your place and ship

back to us and vice versa when the repair is done. Please note that we only cover 1 full return

shipping cost (both ways) for the warranty repair, any additional shipping cost involving the same

warranty claim will be borne by the customer.

The Extended Warranty Plan provides you with additional protection once your existing warranty

Q: Warranty - What is normal, standard or limited warranty cover? A: The limited warranty covers the following faults described below.

1.  DOA - Dead On Arrival 2.  Warranty Claim Procedure 

3.  Return Policy 

Warranty Terms

DOA - Dead on Arrival implies that the product either cannot be turned on or be ready in use after

taking out from the box. Buyer must report this situation to the seller within 48 hours upon the item

is delivered. If the item is not tested or examined by the buyer within the first 48 hours after the

good is received, DOA returned policy would not be granted to the buyer. No further exception will 

be considered about the time issue. The 48 hours period starts at the item shows "delivered" from

the courier service's tracking system. Replacement will be made on "DOA" item. In the event that a

replacement cannot be made due to product availability or any other reasons, Electron-World will

repair the product for the buyer. A repair order may take up to 30 business days starting from the

day when Electron-World's Network received the defective unit. The seller, Electron-World has the

right to make the final decision on whether a replacement or a repair process should be issued under

any circumstances or situation.

NOTE: We will not be able to replace any DOA phone if the protective material on the screen and 

keypad has been removed or if there is any scratch or damage on the phone. The phone will be sent 

for repair under normal warranty claim procedure if the DOA claim is disapproved.

Each product is undertaking by seven-day limited warranty repair coverage. Intermittent issues on

the product will not be covered under our limited warranty policy. The fault that described by the

buyer MUST not be an intermittent problem; it must be a permanent fault that can be easily

identified on every usage or access on that feature. The seller, Electron-World has the right to make

the final decision on whether the issue pointed out is considered permanent defects or not. The

seller, Electron-World has the right to make the final decision on whether a repair process should be

issued under any circumstances or situation.

Neither network dependent features nor firmware related issues will be covered by our limited

warranty repair coverage, regardless the problem is permanent or not. Please refer to our product

compatibility section regarding on the description of network dependent features. The seller,

Electron-World has the right to determine whether the issue pointed out by the buyers is considered

a network dependent feature or not. The seller, Electron-World has the right to make the final

decision on whether a repair process should be issued under any circumstances or situation.

Under any circumstances, the seller, Electron-World reserves the final rights to approve any DOA

replacement or a warranty coverage repair. The seller, Electron-World also has the right to make the

final decision on whether the issue pointed out by the buyer is consider a defect or not. In the event

that a replacement or repair is not granted to the buyer, the buyer will have to find their own repairsource and is responsible for all the related cost and expenses.

The repair process by Electron-World might take up to 30 business days upon received of the

product from the buyer.

Warranty Terms

Once the item has been repaired and still have the same problem within 1 month period, the

customer must report this situation to Electron-World immediately and have the products returned

to us within 1 month upon delivery of the warranty claimed product. Upon confirmation from

Electron-World, customer need to ship back the faulty product to us for inspection at their own cost,

however, further repair charges will be borne by Electron-World if it is confirmed by our technician

that the problem is related with the earlier repair. Kindly note that there will be charges incurred to

be borne by customer if it is reported after one month of the warranty claim or if there is any other

defect out of the warranty terms.

Q: Warranty - What is not covered under standard or extended

warranty for digital camera/camcorder/lens? A: This warranty does NOT apply if it is shown that the defect or malfunction was caused by:

y  Misuse and abuse

y  Tampering

y  Alterations and modifications

NZD $ 32.72 - as the custom is 150 KM away, it takes someone to drive 4 hours to pick up the

shipment from the custom office in the airport.

This amount may come to as high as USD $ 60.00

There is also a high chances that this clearance and delay may take up 1-2 months before your

phone is returned to you.

The correct procedure of returning a phone for warranty claim and repair is stated clearly here: 

All returned product is subject to the approval by the seller. Returned items without an approval

RMA ( Return Material Authorization) number from the seller will not be processed. Any shipping and

handling expenses result on those returns without approval will be responsible by the buyer.

1. Contact us and we will help you fill in a Warranty Claim Form. To make sure that you are qualify 

for a warranty claim. 

2. Upon completion of a warranty claim form, our support team will create a RMA and obtain

approval. We can provide you with door to door pick up service if you wish to use our Fedex account

to ship back the product which starts from USD $ 25.00

NZD $ 32.72 onwards depending on your location, our support team will advise you of the shipping

cost involved, kindly arrange payment for the shipping cost if you wish to use our fedex account to

ship back.

3. Upon receipt of the shipping cost for the RMA, our company will create all documents needed with

an airway bill from Fedex for you to print it out. You will need to pack the faulty product and call up

Fedex for pick up. Kindly note that if you ship back via registered airmail, it will take more than 1

week to reach us thus delayed the warranty claim process, we would normally advise our customer

to use our fedex account in order to expedite the warranty claim process.

4. The defected products will reach us within 3 working days as Fedex is our official agent for

clearing the products with a RMA.

5. The product will be returned to the manufacturer for repair / service / exchange under their

respective warranty policy. It will take about 2 - 4 weeks to resolve this service.

6. Once the item is returned back to us from our supplier, we will check the product and ship it back.

Kindly note that all customers will have to bear for the shipping cost of all RMA except for DOA

warranty. If your warranty does not qualify as DOA warranty, customer will bear the shipping cost

for both ways of shipment, as for DOA warranty, we will bear both the shipping cost of the DOA

warranty claim.
