EXTREME LONG SHOT

❖Usually used to show the setting of the scene.

❖Also known as an establishing shot.

❖Can be up to a quarter mile away.

LONG SHOT

❖Can also be used to set the scene.

❖Usually used to show a whole figure or in relation to something big.

MID SHOT

❖Usually includes from the waist to the head.

❖Allows for more movement than a close up and hand gestures.

❖Emotionally neutral.

❖Usually used to give information.

❖Used to show emotion.

❖Includes detail.
