SMART Grant (TSB)• offers co-funding to UK-based pre-start-ups, start-ups, micro

businesses and SMEs, to carry out R&D projects, which could lead to successful new products, processes and services

• Aim: to provide SMEs with funding and support for market-oriented research and development Project closer to market!

• Funding: Partly funded by EC and TSB (in the UK) - National rules apply:

• Contribution: up to 60% funding of eligible costs• Max amount of grant per UK participant: €360K in any single project• Grant only for SMEs, but Academics and large companies are welcome to
