SHOWCASE SESSION 1 DAY 1 – Monday 3 August - 17.00 – 17.45 Stage 1: 5G licensing best practice and global case studies (Hosted by GSMA) More information available soon. Stage 2: Delivering the requirements of 5G with 6GHz spectrum (Hosted by Coleago Consulting) To deliver the 5G (IMT 2020) requirement of a user experienced data rate of 100Mbit/s anytime, anywhere, citywide more mid-band spectrum is required IMT. Allocating spectrum in the 5925 – 7125 MHz band for 5G and its evolution is a critical building block making it economically feasible to offer 5G services at a price point that makes it affordable to all income groups. There is therefore a clear link between the future use of the 5925 – 7125 MHz band for IMT and the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. In countries where little or no C-Band spectrum is available for 5G mobile, using 1,200 MHz of spectrum in the 6GHz band is essential to deliver the user experience data rate of 100 Mbit/s. Presentation by Stefan Zehle, CEO, Coleago Consulting Stage 3: Spectrum Monitoring of Higher Frequency Ranges – Challenges and Solutions (Hosted by LS telcom) Presentation, live software demo and Q&A by Philipp Abel, Product Manager Spectrum Monitoring, LS telcom
