Thanks for joining us in this ministry to new mothers and babies. If we have inadvertently omitted someone, please call the FFC office, 641-628-3363. Want to join Federated's family? The final step is to come before the Elders and share your testimony of how Jesus came into your life. If you have attended a 101 Class please join us in becoming a member this Sunday, October 20 @ 12:30pm. The Tanzania Mission trip has been rescheduled for March 19-April 5, 2014 (give or take a couple days depend-ing on flights). The cost will be approx. $3,000 and we will book flights late October/early November. If you are interested please talk to Pastor Steve or email [email protected]
In addition to the Sunday Prayer Meeting, there will be another PRAYER MEETING beginning Monday, October 21, 12:00PM, and meeting weekly at noon on Mondays at FFC, Room 100. This if for anyone wanting to simply humble themselves and seek God's presence and His movement in our lives and our community. Please join us!

THE NEST NEEDS YOUR HELP:The goal for the Nest is to provide a clean, safe, loving environment. We like to have three people in each room during each service, one of which must be an adult. You must be at least 11 years of age (minors need parent permission) to serve. With lots of help we hope to have a 5-week rotation and the commitment is one year, November 2013-November 2014.
CAN SERVE:• During 9am or 11am service• Between services for adult Sunday School• Special events: Easter drama, Christmas
drama, SWYW, VBS, etc.• Deep cleaning toys• Being a co-leader
*Please Note: if your child uses the nursery please add your name to be on the rotation. Also, if your name is on the list from last year it will remain in the rotation unless you contact Denise. This is not to twist your arm or to force you to serve, we simply need your help. Don’t be afraid to serve in multiple places, we will work with your schedule. Please prayerfully consider serving in nursery.

A challanging movie series and study called “GODS AT WAR” about the idols that vie for our heart will begin later this month.
PELLA AREA ADOPTIVE/FOSTER PARENT SUPPORT GROUP will meet the following days at Federated Oct. 24, Nov. 21, Dec.19, Jan. 23 @ 6:30-8pm. Onsite childcare is provided. This is open to all adoptive and foster parents. Come connect with other adoptive/foster parents as we encourage one another and look at ways to promote adoption and foster care in our community. Kids Against Hunger is a food relief organization that unifies teams of people who package a specialized rice based soy casserole mixture which is used locally and overseas. It is based on a simple principle of people helping people, in this instance, even kids! Kids Against Hunger not onlynourishes hungry children and families, but the spirits of the volunteers who pack the meals!
It’s coming-the Kids Against Hunger community food packaging event!
Saturday, November 16 from 9am-Noon at Federated Fellowship. Your dontation of $30 helps package 108 meals! Open to all ages. Volunteer to help package meals, set up tables, or donate on behalf of those who would like to volunteer their time to package meals. The Peoria Christian Grade School would like to invite everyone to their Annual Bazaar, Craft, Bake Sale and Supper on Friday, November 1st. The Bake/Craft Sale begins at 3:00 through 6:30 pm with coffee time served from 3:00-4:30 pm. Supper will be served from 5:00-6:30 pm and the Live Auction begins at 7:00 pm with daycare provided.
