Shri Hari Babu Srivastava Director of LASTEC in DRDO visited JUIT and delivered expert

lecture on " LASER IN HOMELAND SECURITY AND DEFENCE" on 27 Sep 2016.

Students of B Tech and M tech students attended the lecture and interacted with him enthusiastically.

He also interacted with faculty members and Ph.D Research scholar and discussed about the latest

research issues. He visited ECE department and the laboratories and gave constructive inputs for lab

up-gradation .

Dr. Jyotindra Singh Sahambi, Head of Electrical Engg Department, IIT Ropar visited JUIT on 30 Sep

2016 and delivered expert lecture on “Biomedical Image Processing”. Students of B.Tech and M.

Tech students attended the lecture and interacted with him enthusiastically. He also interacted with

faculty members and Ph.D Research scholar and also visited ECE department and the laboratories.
