FOOD SAFETY AUTHORITY OF IRELAND ACT 1998 (AMENDMENTOF FIRST AND SECOND SCHEDULES) ORDER 2014.

I, LEO VARADKAR, Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers con-ferred on me by section 5 of the Food Safety Authority of Ireland Act 1998(No. 29 of 1998) (as adapted by the Health and Children (Alteration of Nameof Department and Title of Minister) Order 2011 (S.I. No. 219 of 2011)), afterconsultation with the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, herebyorder as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Food Safety Authority of Ireland Act 1998(Amendment of First and Second Schedules) Order 2014.

2. In this Order—

“Act” means the Food Safety Authority of Ireland Act 1998 (No. 29 of 1998);

“Order of 2012” means the Food Safety Authority of Ireland Act 1998(Amendment of First Schedule) Order 2012 (S.I. No. 346 of 2012).

3. Part II (as amended by Article 3 of the Order of 2012) of the First Scheduleto the Act is amended—

(a) by deleting:

“European Communities (Marketing of Fruit Juices and CertainSimilar Products) Regulations 2003 (S.I. No. 240 of 2003).”, and

“European Communities (Control on Imports of Animal Products forPersonal Consumption) Regulations 2004 (S.I. No. 267 of 2004).”, and

(b) by inserting after “European Communities (Equine) Regulations 2011(S.I. No. 357 of 2011)” the following:

“European Communities (Import of Personal Consignments of Prod-ucts of Animal Origin) Regulations 2012 (S.I. No. 374 of 2012).”

4. Part III (as amended by Article 4 of the Order of 2012) of the First Sched-ule to the Act is amended—

(a) by deleting:
