EHMA 2017 ANNUAL CONFERENCE Programme Register EHMA 2017 ANNUAL CONFERENCE Health Futures 13-15 June - Milan, italy EHMA Annual Conference is the longest standing and most highly respected international conference on health management. It is also a key meeting point for our members and delegates coming from Europe and beyond. Hosted by Bocconi University, this year's Annual Conference revolves around the topic of "Health Futures" which will be discussed by policy makers, health managers, health professionals, educators and heads of research programmes. This year we are honoured to have with us three renowned keynote speakers for our Plenary Sessions: Dr. Josep Figueras, Director of the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies and Head of the WHO European Centre on Health Policy in Brussels; Sir David Sloman, Chief Executive Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust; and Prof. Jan Kimpen, MD, Chief Medical Officer at Philips. The Bocconi University Health Management Masterclass series is another addition for 2017. Running in parallel to the three conference days, each session will be led by international guest speakers and will focus on key issues of health management practice and policies. These sessions have been specifically designed for those working in healthcare management bringing the expertise from the SDA Bocconi school of management in executive and post-graduate training in healthcare Management, economics and policy. Together with our well-established Special Interest Groups on Health Workforce, Primary Care, Health Futures and Best Practice in Management, a new development for 2017 are EHMA Development Sessions, which will focus on a particular issue in healthcare with a practical problem solving approach. The sessions for 2017 are "Maximising the benefits of E-Health", "Boundaryless Hospitals", "Addressing the Rural Health issue", and "Healthcare Governance". Furthermore, two sessions have been specifically designed for early career professionals: Early Career Development Forum and Writing for Publication. While the Conference boasts an impressive line-up of keynote speakers and sessions, what is also important is the starting point for action that it provides. The EHMA Conference offers academics, health managers, policy and decision- makers the opportunity to discuss significant topics; to network with other professions with whom to make positive changes; and to create or join Special Interest Groups that take the conversations and ideas discussed during the Conference toward concrete action. http://bit.ly/EHMA2017 #EHMA2017 #HealthFutures
