The Region committed to offer a complete range of internationalization processes, which includes the participation at international events of reference and targeted activities of incoming for operators representing the most important international markets. The Sicilian industry counts approximately 100 companies, over 400 employees and a turnover of more than 75 million Euros. The BOATING project represents a huge opportunity for nautics in Sicily. Therefore, new trading and business opportunities will be created through a network between the various companies within the product chain. At the upcoming “Boot”, which will be held in Duesseldorf from the 19th to the 27th of January 2013, the Sicilian Region will be present a pool of local companies among three collective referred to the sections: nautical manufacturing, nautical services and accessories, ports and marinas. Especially the port and marina sector is expanding fast and new prestigious structures on the territory were born.
