PGM PP RUNNER JOCKEY TRAINER M/L 1 1 Positivity Geovanni Franco Luis Mendez 4/1 2 2 Teton Valley Jorge Velez Ryan Hanson 4/1 4/5 SA 2f :23.2hg B Slow into stride leaving the gate but then went nicely while besting Foxborough (2f, :24hg) while under mild coaxing only, up after a quarter in :23.3 on our watches and then galloping out strongly, :35.3 and up after a half in :48.4. Tapiture colt in Hanson looks to have some ability and seems fairly fit, even though this was his first recorded work. Should make one of the early baby races when racing resumes. 3 3 Tripp a Matic Ruben Fuentes Luis Mendez 3/1 4 4 Dennis Celery Evin Roman Doug O'Neill 10/1 5/18 SA 3f :36.3hg C Went slower than given, :24.3 and :37.1 on our watches while even but second best with Ingest (4f, :50.2hg, actually up after three furlongs), :37.1 on our watches while even with workmate when eased up but was under mild coaxing while workmate was never asked at all. Did better today than the last time we saw him but doesn't strike us as a win-early type 5/11 SA 4f :51.2hg D+ Last of three in team gate drill with Ingest and Self Isolation (both 4f, :49.2hg), steadily dropping far back without any hint of speed. Point of Entry colt is hard to endorse in an abbreviated sprint, at best he's a down the road type. 5 5 Ingest Mario Gutierrez Doug O'Neill 2/1 5/18 SA 4f :50.2hg B- In company with Dennis Celery (3f, :36.3hg) and was clearly best while under a stout hold early and never really asked at any stage, up after three furlongs with splits of :24.2 and :37.1, then coasted out a slow half. Certainly, has some ability but is hard to gauge as he's never really been asked to show what he can do. Seems fit. 5/11 SA 4f :49.2hg B- Always best for O'Neill in team gate drill with Self Isolation (same time) and Dennis Celery (4f, :51.2hg), breaking well and leading throughout under mild coaxing only throughout, splits of :24.4, :36.4 and :49.1 on our watches, then galloped out fairly well. Looks like a well-schooled juvenile, has some ability, hard to judge how much quicker Square Eddie colt he could have gone if asked. 6 6 Alpine Thunder Tiago Pereira Jose Hernandez, Jr. 15/1 7 7 Intense Umberto Rispoli Mike Harrington 8/1 8 8 Broken Finger Victor Flores Rafael DeLeon 20/1 9 9 Rantanen Abel Cedillo Andrew Lerner 5/1 Race #2 Claiming - 5 1/2F D FOR FILLIES AND MARES THREE YEARS OLD AND UPWARD WHICH HAVE NEVER WON TWO RACES. Hard to get excited about but may improve if dropped to much softer level., 4/25 SA 5f 1:00.4h C+ In blinkers, under a hold early to the head of the lane, then was put to some pressure and was a tad second best in team drill with Bluegrass Sky (same time), final three furlongs in :12 flat and :36.3. Fair to moderate, has a right to improve off a layoff but needs a significant class drop.

after three furlongs), :37.1 on our watches while even with workmate when eased up but was under mild coaxing while workmate was never asked at all. Did better today than the last time we saw him but doesn't strike us as a win-early type

5/11 SA 4f :51.2hg D+ Last of three in team gate drill with Ingest and Self Isolation (both 4f, :49.2hg), steadily dropping far back without any hint of speed. Point of Entry colt is hard to endorse in an abbreviated sprint, at best he's a down the road type.

5 5 Ingest Mario Gutierrez Doug O'Neill 2/15/18 SA 4f :50.2hg B- In company with Dennis Celery (3f, :36.3hg) and was clearly best while under a stout hold early and never really asked at

1 1 Bella Renella Victor Flores Rafael DeLeon 12/1

2 2 Doritas Lemon Umberto Rispoli J. Kruljac 10/1 4/30 SA 4f :50h TT B- Solo training drill, a tad awkward changing leads but did well enough while mostly on her own, final three furlongs in in

nice :36.2. Won at first asking in a soft maiden claimer and should be competitive vs. winners for a moderate tag for Kruljac.

3 3 Remember to Smile Ruben Fuentes Jeff Bonde 5/15/15 SA 4f :47.2h B- In blinkers, did okay in solo half mile drill for Bonde, mostly on her own, final quarter mile in :24.3. Was overmatched on

grass, can improve but probably fits best with low-level restricted claiming sprinters.

4 4 Your Royal Coil Tiago Pereira Paul Aguirre 2/15/17 SA 4f :49.1h TT C+ In blinkers, ridden through the lane, final quarter mile in :25.2. About the same - the hood didn't seem to make much of

a difference - but is lightly raced and has improving form for Aguirre.

5 5 Boolicious Jorge Velez Craig Lewis 20/1 5/11 SA 4f :50h C Under some urging through the lane, final quarter in :25.3 for C. Lewis. Seems about the same following non-threatening

effort in comeback, needs a class drop.

6 6 Mongolian Sunrise Heriberto Figueroa Enebish Ganbat 5/1

7 7 Hot On the Trail Abel Cedillo Mark Glatt 5/25/3 SA 5f 1:00.3h C+ Blinkers off for this drill, worked outside Apache Pass (same time) for Glatt) and was put to strong pressure from the

quarter pole but didn't produce any real response, second best to the wire (workmate going easily), final half mile in :1.3, :23.2 and :48.2. Hard to get excited about but may improve if dropped to much softer level.,

4/25 SA 5f 1:00.4h C+ In blinkers, under a hold early to the head of the lane, then was put to some pressure and was a tad second best in team drill with Bluegrass Sky (same time), final three furlongs in :12 flat and :36.3. Fair to moderate, has a right to improve off a layoff but needs a significant class drop.

8 8 Miss Bennet Assael Espinoza Matthew Chew 6/15/9 SA 5f 1:00.3h C+ Worked outside Silken Prince (same time) for M. Chew and second best, about a length back at the wire while being

ridden some through the lane (workmate going easily), final three furlongs in :36.3. Been away since last summer, returning about the same, needs modest claimers.

 Race #3 Allowance Optional Claiming - 5 1/2F T

FOR CALIFORNIA BRED OR CALIFORNIA SIRED FILLIES AND MARES THREE YEARS OLD AND UPWARD WHICH HAVE NEVER WON $15,000 OTHER THAN MAIDEN, CLAIMING OR STARTER OR WHICH HAVE NEVER WON TWO RACES OR CLAIMING PRICE $20,000. Three Year Olds, 120 lbs.; Older, 126 lbs. Non-winners Of A Race Other Than Maiden, Claiming Or Starter Allowed 2 lbs.

PGM PP RUNNER JOCKEY TRAINER M/L

1 1 Cheap Cheap Cheap Mario Gutierrez Doug O'Neill 7/25/1 SA 5f 1:00.2h B In company inside Homehome (same time) and went stride for stride through the lane, neither one asked much, splits of

:23.2, :35 flat and 1:00.3 on our watches. Square Eddie filly ran a bit better than the line will show last time out, has all of her conditions, has improvement in her.

2 2 Smiling Annie Abel Cedillo Mark Glatt 5/2

3 3 Square Peggy Edwin Maldonado Vladimir Cerin 7/25/2 SA 5f 1:01.2h B- Worked outside Tig Tog (same time) for Cerin and was cruising through the lane while slightly best at the wire, final half

mile in :11.3, :23.2 and :49.2, quick early, slowish late but never asked. Seems in good shape but recent form suggests she'll appreciate a class drop.

4 4 Swing Thoughts Umberto Rispoli Steve Knapp 6/14/23 SA 5f 1:02.4h C Solo main track drill for Knapp, easy early but asked hard through the lane to be doing her best, final half mile in :12.2,

:24.3 and :50 flat, not impressive at all. Been popular at the claiming box lately, not sure why.

5 5 Shylock Eddie Aaron Gryder Brian Koriner 5/1

6 6 Rosey Sky Tiago Pereira Brian Koriner 3/15/9 SA 4f :50h C+ Mostly on her own in solo half mile move for Koriner, final three furlongs in :37.2 looking okay. Seems about the same, may

be most comfortably on grass.

 Race #4 Maiden Claiming - 1 1/16M D

FOR MAIDENS, FILLIES AND MARES THREE YEARS OLD AND UPWARD. Three Year Olds, 120 lbs.; Older, 126 lbs. Claiming Price $20,000..

1 1 Manresa Brice Blanc Thomas Bell, II 8/53/25 SA 4f :48.2h B- Worked outside Mad At Money (4f, :48.3h) for Ray Bell and did okay, final three furlongs in :36 flat under mild pressure in

the final stages. Has further improvement in him, seeking another bottom-rung maiden claiming router.

2 2 Marci the Great Edwin Maldonado James Cassidy 6/15/3 SA 5f 1:02.1h C Solo main track drill for J. Cassidy, splits of :12 flat, :23.4, and :49 flat for the half half mile, ridden some through the lane.

About the same, needs a drastic class drop in search of his proper level.

3 3 New Year New Me Victor Flores Vladimir Cerin 6/1

4 4 Turkish Angel J.C. Diaz, Jr. Marcelo Polanco 20/1

5 5 Vannavanna Bo Bana Assael Espinoza Steve Knapp 12/1

7 7 Alicia's Pride Mario Gutierrez Daniel Dunham 12/1

8 8 Diva in Charge Flavien Prat Peter Eurton 5/25/6 SA 5f 1:01hg C+ In blinkers, worked inside Empress of Fire (same time) in gate drill for Eurton, actually went a full six furlongs under

urging from the top of the lane to the wire, splits of :24.3, :36.1, :48.1 and 1:14.4, fair at best. Needs bottom rung maiden claimers.

 Race #5 Allowance Optional Claiming - 1M T

FOR THREE YEAR OLDS AND UPWARD WHICH HAVE NEVER WON $15,000 TWICE OTHER THAN MAIDEN, CLAIMING, STARTER, OR STATE BRED OR WHICH HAVE NEVER WON THREE RACES OR OPTIONAL CLAIMING PRICE OF $62,500. Three Year Olds, 120 lbs.; Older, 126 lbs. Non-winners Of Two Races Other Than Maiden, Claiming Or Starter At A Mile Or Over Allowed 2 lbs.

PGM PP RUNNER JOCKEY TRAINER M/L

1 1 Odysseus Jorge Velez Richard Mandella 2/15/7 SA 6f 1:13.1h B In company inside Kanderel (5f, 1:01h) for Mandella, and did well enough, maybe a tad the best at the wire before

continuing out to 7/8 pole, splits of :24.3, :36.2 and 1:01 flat, out in 1:13 and change, solid work while being ridden some through the lane. In good shape, prefers grass.

2 2 Maestro Dearte Assael Espinoza Peter Eurton 8/15/7 SA 6f 1:15h B In team drill betwen Sorriso (5f, 1:01.3h) and Strugar (6f, 1:17.1h) for Eurton and did well enough under some coaxing in

the final furlong while finishing with something left, splits from the 5/8ths to the wire in :25.1, :37.1, and 1:01.3. Looks fit based on this drill, been away for a year but seems to be coming back in good shape and should make the entries soon. Always has been pretty willing in the a.m.

3 3 Order and Law Ruben Fuentes Vladimir Cerin 6/1

4 4 Kazan [IRE] Tiago Pereira Doug O'Neill 5/1

5 5 Proud Pedro [FR] Flavien Prat Leonard Powell 4/15/3 SA 4f :49.3h TT B Went off slowly but came home nicely without being asked much, final quarter mile in :24.2. Doing very well for

Powell, deep closer is pace-dependent but always tries hard.

6 6 Gregorian Chant [GB] Abel Cedillo Philip D'Amato 15/1 5/11 SA 5f 1:00.3h TT B- Worked outside Red King (same time) for D'Amato on training track, breaking off about a length behind and then

finishing a long neck back at the wire, mild coaxing, splits of :24.4, :36.3 and 1:01 flat, on our watches, a tad slower than given, okay drill, nothing great. Started off as a nice prospect about this time last year but then never made any progress and seems the same.

7 7 Hit the Road Umberto Rispoli Dan Blacker 6/14/24 SA 5f 1:00.3h B In company inside Next Revolt (same time) for Blacker, breaking off a length in front and then prevailing by about a half

length at the wire under mild coaxing only (workmate asked a bit more), splits of :11.4, :23.3 and :47.3 for the final half mile, solid drill. Has some high action and much more comfortable on grass. Been away since the fall, should have the makings of a useful 3-year-old.

8 8 King of Speed Mike Smith Jeff Bonde 6/15/10 SA 4f :50.3h B Solo main track breeze for Bonde, splits of :12.1, :24.1 and :49 flat, plenty left while under cruise control, considerably

faster our watches than official time. Maintains his form for Bonde, has two-other-than conditions, prefers a mile on grass.

FOR THREE YEAR OLDS AND UPWARD WHICH HAVE NEVER WON TWO RACES. Three Year Olds, 120 lbs.; Older, 126 lbs. Claiming Price $12,500..

1 1 Golden Image Mauro Donoe Daniel Dunham 20/1

2 2 Sierra Melody Edwin Maldonado Marcia Stortz 15/1

3 3 Lucky Patrick Heriberto Figueroa Anthony Saavedra 15/1

4 4 All I Can Say Assael Espinoza Val Brinkerhoff 15/1

5 5 King Parker Jorge Velez Craig Lewis 8/15/9 SA 6f 1:14h C+ Worked inside maiden-claimer Brickbat (same time) for C. Lewis, splits of :12.1, :23.4 and :49.3 for the final half mile,

maybe a tad the best at the wire but was under heavy urging the length of the lane. Just broke his maiden in a bottom-rung maiden claimer and now will face low-level restricted claimers. Seems about the same.

6 6 Red Valor Abel Cedillo Val Brinkerhoff 6/1

7 7 Captain Buzzkill Geovanni Franco Gary Mandella 5/1

8 8 Music to My Ears Umberto Rispoli Brian Koriner 5/25/10 SA 5f 1:00.3h B- Solo main track spin for Koriner, splits of :11.4 and :37 flat for the final three furlongs, nice move for a cheap type, mostly

on his throughout. In good shape, could be dangerous if logically spotted with a class drop.

9 9 Overkoter Victor Flores Charles Treece 20/1

10 10 Mayan Warrior Ruben Fuentes Steve Knapp 2/1

 Race #8 Allowance Optional Claiming - 1M D

FOR THREE YEAR OLDS AND UPWARD WHICH HAVE NEVER WON $15,000 OTHER THAN MAIDEN, CLAIMING OR STARTER OR WHICH HAVE NEVER WON TWO RACES OR OPTIONAL CLAIMING PRICE OF $40,000. Three Year Olds, 120 lbs.; Older, 126 lbs. Non-winners Of A Race Other Than Claiming, Or Starter At A Mile Or Over Allowed 2 lbs.

PGM PP RUNNER JOCKEY TRAINER M/L

1 1 El Huerfano Agapito Delgadillo Vladimir Cerin 5/15/4 SA 5f 1:01.4h B- Even inside Farquhar (same time) for Cerin though appearing a tad second best while being pushed on late, splits of

:11.4, :24 flat and :49.2 on our watches from the half mile pole to the wire. Looks okay but has many miles on him and needs a class drop.

2 2 Starting Bloc Ruben Fuentes Alfredo Marquez 10/1 5/9 SA 4f :48.2h C+ Worked alone on main track with splits of :11.3 and :36.3 from the 3/8ths pole to the wire, very late changing leads but

not asked much, fair to moderate drill for Marquez on the comeback trail. Needs grass for his best chance, inclined to see one off the bench.

3 3 Canyon Crest Flavien Prat Michael McCarthy 8/15/16 SA 4f :48.1h C+ Worked outside Frair's Road (4f, :47.2h) for M. McCarthy, no match in the furlong while dropping a few lengths back

though really not asked much. Not the worst, but was expecting for him to be at least fairly competitive. Just won a state-bred allowance race with the help of a beneficial race-shape, open first-leel allowance foes surely will test him.

4 4 Take the One O One Jose Valdivia, Jr. Brian Koriner 8/14/25 SA 5f 1:01h B In company inside Takethediamondlane (same time) for Koriner, and did well, finishing under a decent hold while proving

best by a half-length at the wire with splits of :24.2, :36.2 and 1:01.1 on our watches, eager to do a bit more if asked. Chance to regain his form but needs a class drop.

SCR - Tartini SCRATCHED

6 5 Boogalute Drayden Van Dyke Mike Puype 10/1 4/18 SA 5f 1:01.1h B- Puype-trained gelding earned splits of :11.3 and :36.2 from the 3/8ths pole to the wire, useful work under mild coaxing

only. Holds his form, has all of his conditions.

7 6 Tizamagician Victor Espinoza Richard Mandella 2/15/18 SA 4f :49.1h B Just galloping in solo half mile breeze, splits of :12 flat, :36.3 and :49.1 from the 3/8ths to the 7/8ths. Looks on edge for

his best effort, has an improving pattern and should continue in that direction vs. allowance foes.

5/8 SA 7f 1:28h B+ Worked outside United (same time) for R. Mandella, and was never really asked while finishing stride-for-stride with high class stablemate, final quarter in :25.3, easy drill while looking fine, sharper today than the last time we saw him. Bred to improve with distance/age (Tiznow) and is headed in the right direction.

5/1 SA 6f 1:12.3h B- In 3-horse team drill inside with Amuse (same time) and Springs Eternal (6f, 1:14h) and did pretty well under some coaxing from the top of the lane to the wire, final half mile :23.2 and :48.4 for R. Mandella. Not bad but was expecting just a bit more. Has all of his allowance conditions and would be wise to use them.

8 7 Nolo Contesto Umberto Rispoli John Sadler 6/14/22 SA 5f 1:01.3h B Worked outside Sadler barnmate Higher Power (same time), and did well, never really asked at all, splits of :24.1, :36.1

and 1:01.4 on our watches, both coasting in the final stages. Getting fit, looks okay, been away but seems to be coming back in good shape. Once beat Omaha Beach on this main track.

9 8 Heartfullofstars Eswan Flores Edwin Alvarez 30/1

10 9 Kylemore Geovanni Franco Gary Stute 8/1

11 10 Platinum Equity Tiago Pereira Steve Knapp 8/15/17 SA 5f 1:00.1hg C+ In company inside McKale and was second best under hard urging from the gate every step of the way, splits of :23.2,

:34.4 and :46.3 to the top (about a length back of workmate at this stage), then was eased up and galloped out five furlongs. Good work on paper but not visually impressive as he was pretty much all out.

5/8 SA 5f 1:00.4h B- Solo five furlong drill for Knapp, from the 1/2 pole, easy to the top in :12.2 and :24.2, then was urged pretty good to the wire in :48.3, then coasted out to 7/8 pole in 1:01 flat, okay drill for Stay Thirsty gelding. Probably can improve recent form but needs a significant class drop.

 Race #9 Maiden Special Weight - 1M T

FOR CALIFORNIA BRED OR CALIFORNIA SIRED MAIDENS, FILLIES AND MARES THREE YEARS OLD AND UPWARD. Three Year Olds, 120 lbs.; Older, 126 lbs. [Non-Starters For A Claiming Price Of $40,000 Or Less In Their Last Start Preferred].

PGM PP RUNNER JOCKEY TRAINER M/L

1 1 Creer Aaron Gryder David Hofmans 8/14/29 SA 6f 1:15.3h C+ Under urging to finish all out for Hofmans, final three furlongs in :37.4. Modest state-bred maiden filly probably prefers

grass . Has a series of long dirt workouts since last race so she has to be fit.

2 2 Bella D Assael Espinoza Mike Puype 20/1 5/15 SA 6f 1:14.1h B- Broke off far in front of Scarto (6f, 1:12.2h) for Puype and was not asked through the while workmate was catching up,

eventually both finishing head-and-head with Bella D going the easier of the two at the wire, not a bad move. Seems to be doing well, may have a bit of improvement in her if given a chance over a distance of ground.

3 3 Unusual Secret Brice Blanc Alexis Barba 15/1 5/16 SA 5f 1:02.4h C In blinkers, solo drill for Barba, splits of :12.1, :24.3 and :50 flat for the final half mile, some urging through the lane, not

impressive. Needs maiden claimers.

4 4 Goodtingscominpink Ruben Fuentes Vladimir Cerin 7/2

5 5 Flyinlaurel Agapito Delgadillo Jeff Mullins 12/1 4/17 SA 4f :48.4hg C+ Blinkers, shadow roll, first-timer in the Mullins barn worked inside from gate with Jungle Roar (same time), splits of :25

flat, :37 flat and :49 flat on our watches, never really asked much in steady, even drill, both head-and-head most of the way. May have a bit of run, probably a distance-type.

6 6 On Mars Mike Smith Philip D'Amato 5/25/16 SA 5f 1:01.4h TT B- Worked outside Too Hot For Curlin (5f, 1:02h) in training track drill for D'Amato, breaking off a length or so behind

and finishing head-and-head at the wire, neither one asked, both in blinkers, looking okay for a maiden state-bred filly. Has the style and the pedigree to improve over a distance of ground and should get that chance when racing resumes.

7 7 Rose's Crystal Drayden Van Dyke Carla Gaines 7/25/1 SA 4f :48.4h B- Solo half mile spin for Gaines, splits of :12 flat, :24 flat and :48.4, never really asked much, smooth to the wire with

something left. Has some improvement in her and should fire a good shot vs. state-bred maiden fillies next time out.

8 8 Too Hot for Curlin Abel Cedillo Philip D'Amato 6/15/16 SA 5f 1:02h TT C+ Broke off in front of On Mars (5f, 1:01.4h) in training track drill for D'Amato, and finished head-and-head at the wire,

neither one asked much, both in blinkers, both looking okay for maiden state-bred fillies. No real change, form is kinda blah.

9 9 Warren's Empress Jorge Velez Craig Lewis 6/14/17 SA 4f :47.3h B- Worked outside Kleen Karma (4f, :48.1h) for C. Lewis, never changing leads but proving best by a couple of lengths under

mild coaxing only, final three furlongs in :11.1 and :36 flat. In good shape, has some improvement in her but needs to learn to switch over.

11 11 Cassie Belle Abel Cedillo Sean McCarthy 4/14/25 SA 4f :48h B- Went off fairly quickly and then finished okay under some coaxing, splits of :11.4, :23.1 and :47.4 on our watches for S.

McCarthy. Seems fit, probably belongs with state-bred maiden claimers.
