The Siemens range of RCCBs display all the outstanding technical properties you’d expect from a Siemens product, properties that ensure a reliable and predictable performance every time.

These devices are used to provide personal protection from the dangers of earth fault residual current and can be used to provide protection across more than one circuit. They do not provide overcurrent protection and must always be used in conjunction with appropriate MCBs.

Additional Siemens safety features include Insulating Contact Guards and Remote DIN Latch to prevent any inadvertent contact with live parts during installation and maintenance.

The 5SV Series are available in two and four Pole configurations, with contact ratings from 25A through to 80A.

They are universal mount and can be line-connected top or bottom.

Ergonomic design and clear, coloured indication ensures easy operation and safe status interpretation.

The Siemens 5SU Series RCBOs display all the outstanding technical properties you’d expect from a Siemens product, properties that ensure a reliable and predictable performance every time.

They combine the function of overcurrent and earth fault protection into a single device, saving cost and valuable panel space.

The 5SU Series provide single circuit 30mA personal protection and are available in ratings from 10A to 25A. The single module design has 6kA and 10kA options and for additional safety and convenience, the Earth tail and Neutral reference fly lead have end treatment to contain the conductor strands.

Both ranges have the Siemens unique remote DIN latch, making these devices easy and safe to install and service. This feature allows the latch to be engaged and disengaged from a position well clear of any live parts.

Their ergonomic design and clear, coloured indication ensures easy operation and safe status interpretation.

Protoplex is a flexible control cable suitable for use in most industrial applications. Examples include Air conditioning and ventilation systems, production and processing equipment, and with machine tools and industrial robot.

ConstructionThese cables consist of finely stranded copper conductors with V75 PVC insulation and a high grade PVC sheath. The control cores are black and are sequentially numbered. A green/yellow earth core is included. Rated voltage (Uo/U) 300/500V

EnvironmentThis range has a resistance to oil, grease, and chemicals and is designed for moderate mechanical loading in dry, damp, and wet areas. It is also suitable for use outdoors if it is permanently installed and protected from direct sunlight. For Hazardous locations, please refer to the relevant Australian Standard to clarify any need for additional requirements.

Protoflex–EMV-FC is a flexible cable ideal for connecting AC variable speed drives and motors, and suitable for any application where EMC must be tightly controlled.

ConstructionThese cables consist of finely stranded copper conductors with XLPE insulation, covered with a tinned copper braided screen and a PVC sheath. The screen is designed for optimum EMC performance offering a low transfer resistance, and a low dc resistance to also offer good resistance to low frequency harmonics. Rated voltage (Uo/U) 0.6/1kV

EnvironmentThis range is designed for fixed or occasional flexing in dry, damp, wet conditions. These products are UV stabilised suitable for use outdoors. Ozoflex flexible heavy duty cable is suitable control cable applications and for a broad range of heavy duty applications, from site leads for tools, equipment and festooning, to stage and theatre power and lighting, and for cranes and hoists, portable motors, generators and so on.

RangeThe Ozoflex range is 2 core, 2 core and E, 3 core and E, and 4 core and E with conductor sizes from 1mm2 through to 25mm2. Ozoflex is also available as a 1.5mm2 control cable, 7 and 12 core.

ConstructionOzoflex cables consist of finely stranded copper conductors with EPR R-ER-90 elastomer insulation. This insulation provides for greater current carrying capacity and a temperature rating of 90oC. The sheath is CSP elastomer (Hypalon), a material that has excellent mechanical properties, and in addition to being flame retardant, is oil and chemical resistant. All control cables and power cables 16mm2 and above have an additional inner sheath for added protection.
