Heritage in Catalonia

Els béns mobles i immobles de caràcter històric, per a l’estudi dels quals cal utilitzar la metodologia arqueològica, integren el patrimoni arqueològic català. També l’integren els elements geològics i paleontològics relacionats amb l’ésser humà i amb els seus orígens i antecedents.

Les figures de protecció del patrimoni arquitectònic català són:

Béns culturals d'interès nacional (BCIN): Són els béns més rellevants del patrimoni cultural català, declarats per l'Administració de la Generalitat, que els ha d'inscriure al Registre de Béns Culturals d'Interès Nacional. Pel que fa al patrimoni arquitectònic, es classifiquen en: monument històric, conjunt històric, jardí històric i lloc històric.

Béns culturals d'interès local (BCIL): Són els béns del patrimoni cultural català que, tot i la seva importància, no compleixen les condicions pròpies dels béns culturals d'interès nacional (BCIN). Els béns culturals d'interès local immobles són declarats pel ple de l’Ajuntament, en els municipis de més de cinc mil habitants, o pel ple del consell comarcal, en els municipis de menys de cinc mil habitants. També són béns culturals d'interès local (BCIL), els béns immobles que quan va entrar en vigor la Llei 9/1993 eren inclosos en catàlegs de patrimoni cultural incorporats en plans d'urbanisme. El Departament de Cultura de la Generalitat els ha d'inscriure al Catàleg del Patrimoni Cultural Català.

Altres béns del patrimoni arquitectònic català: Són construccions, edificis i conjunts d'edificacions que, tot i no haver estat declarats BCIN o BCIL, reuneixen també prou valors artístics, arquitectònics o històrics per formar part de l'Inventari del Patrimoni Arquitectònic Català.INTRODUCTION

Goals of Granollers Archaeological and Architectonical Heritage Special Protection Project (PEPPAAG) are:

Stimulate heritage interest

Define Granollers historical heritage in his ways architectonical, urban, environmental and archaeological to establish mesures for its conservation, recovery and enhancement.

Catalogue buildings and singular elements in whole municipallity.>Delimite and define town areas to be manage by Special Project and, in archaeological areas, define zones to its protection.

Preserve archaeological/paleontological sites discovered in a fortuitous way.

Establish protection categories.>Control actions and procedures to guarantee preservation of catalogued elements.

Growing interest by Town Planning in Municipallity Granollers Territorial Area, to implement a Geografic Information System (GIS) to Municipallity Town Planning Project (POUM).

Very useful to POUM manegement, due to territorial component presented.

Currently, POUM is in a revision and actualization procedure.Is the moment to establis a cartography with needed topology to joined with an alphanumerical database (BDA) to explote all its information.

Architectonical and Archaeological Heritage is included in POUM, so its also interested to do a cartography with its topology.

To avoid explotation it has to be gruoped each rows of table that contains information of Architectonical Herital, through item “estil”With all row grouped it can do a count of number of rows for classGeomedia Professional 4.0 doesn’t allow create region elements (some stocktaked goods are represented by more than one geometric element)With Geomedia Professional 4.0 the count will be erroneus (greater) because it will cont all the geometric elements, not the stocktaked elements

GeoMedia by design provides statistics on the legend of the number of recods, not the number of discrete geometries acumulated in thos records.Later versions of GeoMedia have additional functionality such as the Funtional Attributes command which facilitate enhanced data extraction. Further exploration with the more recent version of GeoMedia technology is recommended.
