From first-time shooter to the range veteran, the SIG SAUER Academy progressive shooting development

courses offer a logical shooting evolution designed to build a shooter. Pistol, rifle and shotgun courses are

Proven techniques successfully transfer essential skills and knowledge from instructor to student in less time.

Instructor candidates practice teaching techniques acquired with each other and are rigorously evaluated for

ARMORER CERTIFICATION

Proper and routine weapon maintenance and inspection are essential to ensure maximum reliability. Factory

armorer courses at SIG SAUER Academy certify agency armorers or individuals to maintain, inspect, service,

and repair selected SIG SAUER firearms while preserving the factory warranty. Upon successful completion,

armorers will fully understand each firearm and be factory-certified for a period of three years.
