Your Payment Options The Microsoft Affiliate Program provides two options for receiving payments:
Option 1. The Tradedoubler payment is recommended for payments within Europe (SEPA) in one of the
Tradedoubler payout currencies (EUR | GBP | CHF | DKK | NOK | SEK | PLN).
Option 2. The Payoneer payment is recommended for international payments outside of Europe or for payments in
the additional currencies offered by Payoneer. This enables you to receive either payments in local
currency of the country where you are based or – if you work internationally – to opt to receive all
payments in a single currency across all programs and countries (either local currency, USD or EUR).
Information: Please note that you may not change your payment method once you have received the first payment
through the chosen payment provider. For existing partners that have been using the Tradedoubler payment option in the
past and would rather be paid out via Payoneer, we offer you to switch your payment option to Payoneer. In this case also
please consider that once you receive the first payment via Payoneer, the payment option may not be changed back.
Option 1. Tradedoubler Payment
Saving your payment information in the dashboard (click on >> Account >> Payment Information) will enable you to
be paid in one of the following currencies, depending on the currency of each program / country you are promoting.
EUR | GBP | CHF | DKK | NOK | SEK | PLN
Please double check the currency available for each of the countries you wish to run promotions for in our overview
Supported Currencies per Market for Tradedoubler Payment.

Important: Whenever reaching out to the Affiliate Team with any question please provide your Website ID. This will help us
find your publisher account easily in order to resolve your query. The Website or Site ID is a unique number that is
assigned once for each of the websites that you have created under your Tradedoubler publisher account.
Apply
After activating your account you will be automatically registered to the Microsoft Private Affiliate Program that is
applicable to the markets you selected during registration. A successful application will link your publisher account to
the region-specific Microsoft Private Affiliate Program(s) available to you.
After your application, the Microsoft Affiliate Program Support Team will review your application and send you a decision
via your registered contact email within 5 business days.
Work in several Markets with the Cross Border Option
Why work cross border?
The Microsoft Private Affiliate Program is available in more than 50 markets worldwide and covers countries on every
continent. Our international partners benefit automatically from the included cross border function, which means that you
will be able to promote any available market within one publisher account on the Tradedoubler platform and keep track of
your activities on both a global and country level.
Not finding your key market in our program? Please feel free to reach out to us with your suggestions.
How to work cross border
(A) Publisher account for cross border: The registration and automatic activation of the cross border function allows you
to be active in several markets and to promote the Microsoft Private Affiliate Program in more than one country.
Please note that you can only add one bank account for each publisher account. This means that all commission that
you earn whilst promoting the Microsoft Private Affiliate Program, will be transferred to the bank account you add in
your Payment Information Details. If you require affiliate commission payments to be processed to different banks,
e.g. because this is handled by different legal entities, please set up a separate publisher account. Please reach out to
the Microsoft Affiliate Support Team if you require support or consultancy on your account set up.
(B) Add your international websites: You can add multiple websites in one publisher account. These websites can be
added for different markets, or for the same markets if you own several websites or apps. This will enable you to track
your activities per each country and website when promoting the Microsoft Private Affiliate Program in several
markets.
To add a new site, go to >>Sites >>Add Sites. You can edit and manage all your sites under >>Sites >>Sites.
When adding a new site, all active reseller countries are available in the country list.

Glossary
A glossary of program terms is included in the Microsoft Private Affiliate Program dashboard. Simply sign into your
account. Click on the help menu in the upper right corner, and click on “Info Center”. On the resulting page, click on the
glossary button in the upper left. For quick reference, here are a few of the most common terms:
Click (Click through): refers to the action a visitor takes when they are referred from one website through a link or ad and
are taken to another website.
Commission: commission is the fee paid by the advertiser. Commission can be a percentage of the sales value generated
by a publisher website, a fixed fee or a hybrid fee e.g. click + sale. It is possible to earn higher levels of commission
depending on performance.
CPM (Cost per targeted thousand impressions): the price an advertiser pays the referring publisher for every thousand
targeted impressions redirected to the advertiser's website. The visitors are defined by particular demographics or
characteristics.
CR (Conversion rate): the percentage of unique visitors that result in a desired action. The action that determines
conversion is set by the advertiser and may be a sale on the advertiser's website, a completed lead form, or another action.
CTR (Click through rate): the percentage of impressions that result in a unique visitor (UV), for example a CTR of 1%
would mean every 100 impressions produces one UV. Used as a measure of advertising effectiveness and the higher
percentage the better.
Impressions: a single instance of an ad being displayed on a publisher website. The cost is quoted in terms of CPM.
Leads: when a visitor registers, signs up for, or downloads something from an advertiser’s website.
LR (Lead Rate): the percentage of unique visitors that result in a lead. Calculated by dividing leads with unique visitor.
Order value: the total sum of the order, can also be referred to as basket value or revenue. This value is used to calculate
publisher commission (% of sales value).
Sale: registered when a visitor clicks on a Tradedoubler enabled link on a publisher's website and is redirected to the
advertiser's website where the sale is completed. The sale has to be genuine and verified as not being fraudulent for
commission to be paid to the publisher.
Unique impressions: amount of responses to page requests from a visitor’s browser, filtered to exclude duplicates, fraud
and error codes. A specific browser is only accounted for once within a predefined time period.
