“Safety” is both an important business practice promoted and supported by Signal within the Member group, and an area of the Signal website.

Claim EntryEnter new claims or view pending and recently entered claims.

Recent ClaimsView claims entered within the last 30 days.

ReportsClaims listing: request a claims report with graphs, available in .pdf or .csv formats to allow viewing as well as manipulation of claims data); Experience record: request an experience record which will be sent to the member’s registered email address); and Claims reports: loss run, experience record, claimants on compensation, claimants with multiple claims, injuries by body part, and death claims.

Claim SearchSearch for specific claims using a flexible search criteria including policy year, claim number, port, f-code, name, accident date and total incurred value. Useful to isolate data, view current reserves and history of payments on a claim.

Renewal QuestionnaireDetails about your payroll, safety, and claims programs, including estimated final payrolls and projected payrolls for the forthcoming year. These projections are a key part of assessing the renewal budget for the new year. Data is saved. Any repeating data will be available to Members the following year (on-line).

A powerful feature of eManager is the volume of data easily accessible to view, query, produce reports, enter new data, and manage existing claims. The first link in eManager is “Claim Entry”. This menu item allows members to enter new claims.

After entering the “Accident Date” (and time if known) and selecting the “Verify Coverage” button you will enter the main screen (with 7 tabs) for Claim Entry where you can enter the full details of the claim.

Claims Listing This option allows you toproduce preformatted (PDF or CSV) reports for laterprinting or to extract selected raw claims data for further analysis. Reports that are run using the CSV option can be opened in Excel and manipulated with all ofthe edit features available from Excel. You can also save the settings used for future use (that is, save your report preferences).

Experience Record eManager allows you to request a full experience record comparing your claims record with calls.Your selected claims reports or experience record will be generated and then emailed promptly to the email address on record after you click the button “Generate Report”.

Claims Reports Produces reports in data and graphical formats. Available reports are: “Claims By: Body Part Detailed, Body Part Summary, Permanency Type Detailed, Permanency Type Summary”, “Claimants on Compensation”, “Claimant With Multiple Claims”, “Death Claims”. The report is generated on-line within eManager. You can then choose to “save as” in whatever format you require.

Alternatively, you can launch a general search without a claim number, using various criteria (such as “Member”, “Policy Year”, “State”, “Port”, “F-Code”, “Accident Date”, etc.), You can then select a claim returned from the general search.
