Rods:They are usually used as a way of
teaching grammarAt the beginning level, they can be
used to teach colors and numbersThen more complicated structures
such as prepositions, conditionals, comparatives can be taught.
Self-correction gestures:
Word-chart:
contains functional vocabulary of English
consists of pronouns, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions etc.
coloured letters help the students’ pronunciation.
Fidel chart:color-coded columns, one color
for each sound
present possible spellings of every single sound of the target language
Structured feedback:Students’ observations about
lesson
Advantages and Disadvantages:
Advantages:Enables students to interact and
cooperate with each other.Students develop a certain
degree of self-awareness.They discover the target
language on their own.Students take learning into their
own hands.
Disadvantages:
Most students aren't used to this sort of method.
It may take time for them to adjust to this method.
This method is hard to use for a large number of learners.
