DART
Our Mission: As Members of the DART, our mission is to support teachers and staff in their efforts to educate students with ASD.
Our team will help provide staff with the tools and information needed in order to provide a quality education to all students who experience ASD in the Silver Consolidated School District.
The DART was created for two main purposes: to help identify and evaluate students who may have ASD, and to provide support to students, educational personnel and families.

Music Movement Education
Planning Time:Team meets once per week with staff.
Team meets once per month with Dr. Haughness to be briefed on observations.
Team meets regularly with General Education Staff to discuss inclusion progress and concerns.

Regularly Scheduled Meeting:Results: There are 6 students in the general education
classrooms in grade levels 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th.Each student is assigned a general education teacher by
the principal.
Inclusion Successes!Our 3rd grade student attends Math in the regular education class
as well as recess.Math assignments are a collaboration between the general
education teacher and the Sped teacher.
Our 4th grade student goes to gen. ed. Each morning and participates in oral reading time. He also goes to library class
and attended the anti-bullying class.
Modified Movement Education and Music ClassThe general ed. Movement Education teacher has provided modified ME for the entire school year and related staff have worked on IEP goals for the students during this class.
The High School Music teacher travels from the High School to provide music weekly. These sessions have been videotaped and the students view the videos at a later time. They enjoy watching themselves participating in music.
