Continente Siete (C7 S.A.) is an algorithm workshop, where
mathematical models are constantly being developed to
address complex business problems. Advanced

AnyLogic is the first and only software that allows using the
three modeling paradigms into the same platform: System

Tenaris – USA: “WIP Warehouse Simulation”
Simulation of a warehouse managed by automatic cranes.
Objectives: evaluation of different warehouse’ layouts to identify the optimal configuration and
expansion phases, definition of the cranes’ operational rules to manage the material and support
production lines.
Procter & Gamble: “Distribution Center: Picking and Order Preparation”
Simulation of the picking process at the distribution center.
Objectives: estimation of working capacity at the DC, including operations of picking, pallet
conformation, audit and dispatch. The project had the aim of maximizing the service level by
predicting the real complexity of handling each order.
YPF: “Maintenance Scheduling and Optimization”
Tool based on simulation and optimization to generate the maintenance program.
Objectives: simulation of the execution of different plans, quantification of performance,
optimization to get the best feasible program (scheduling and assignation of resources).

Simulation of the threading and finishing line at the production facility in Mexico.
Objectives: evaluation of the implementation of “Lean Manufacturing” principles at the production line,
definition of optimal buffers’ size and production rules to get the best orders sequence to be produced.
Tenaris Siderca: “Internal Logistics Management”
Simulation of the production facility to manage the movements among production centers.
Objectives: identification of the causes of internal logistics low service level, evaluation of the required
number of resources to manage the material flow, definition of warehouses’ capacity and operative
rules to manage the allocation of resources and demand satisfaction.
Gobbi Novag: “Production Capacity Maximization”
Simulation of Gobbi Novag’s pharmaceutical facility.
Objectives: evaluation of the production system, identification of bottle necks or limiting resources,
analysis of expansion investments and definition of the production rules to generate and maximize the
