2016 Allied Semen and GeneticsIt is hard to believe that this is now our 5th Allied Sire directory. We couldn’t be more proud of the selection of sires for 2016 and the annual growth of the program to date. From the beginning our charge has been to offer the highest value genetics available with an extra-large selection of unique bulls and pedigrees. Additionally, we planned from the start to offer a substantial selection of young candidate sires of the highest genetic potential for the industry to sample each year. The idea being that with smart sampling, high quality progeny data collection along with 3rd party verified genetic evaluation, we have the best probability of finding the sires that can most positively impact our customers as well as the entire beef chain. These graduates of the evaluation program are then used to anchor the highly proven side of the offering or in many instances migrate into some of the larger commercial semen companies such as our partners at Select Sires and Genex for wider scale distribution.

Genetic value and constant improvement is at the core of the Allied program. We take this business very seriously because our customers and this industry depend on it. Calving ease, growth, maternal prowess, production efficiency and great carcass genetics combined with the undeniable value of heterosis are all crucial to our collective future. To say that you can’t have all of them together in a sound, balanced, functional and environmentally adaptable package just isn’t true. In fact it is our number one job as seedstock producers to do just that. Nearly half of the sires listed in the directory rank in the top 5% or better for dollars of API profit in their respective breed categories and 2/3 of them make that 5% rank plateau in the $TI column. You won’t find a group of bulls anywhere designed to drive financial success forward with more options and more genetic punch than these.
