Simon Bolivar
• Simón Bolívar was born in Caracas on July 24th of 1783.
• His father died when he was 3 years old.
• His mother died 6 months after his father’s death.
Simon Bolivar is one of the most famous figures in Spanish History.
As a child through adulthood, he was extremely wealthy. He got most of his money from plantations from his other ancestors.
At age 16, he was sent to school to finish his education.
At age 19, he married Maria Teresa Rodríguez del Toro y Alaysa.
Bolívar returned to Venezuela in 1807, It was during this period that Bolívar wrote his Manifiesto de Cartagena.
Simón Bolívar was in office from December 17 1819 – May 4, 1830.
