Simple mappingInformatica power center designing:Step-1: Open informatica power center.

Connect to repository developer (rep_dev).

Right click on rep_dev select connect and provide user name and password.

Double click on folder to open . Click on tools on taskbar ->Source analyzer->click on sources on task bar to import source definition.

Click on tools on taskbar ->Target designer->click on targets on task bar to import target definition.First

Click on tools on taskbar ->mapping designer->click on mapping on task bar to create mapping( m_mapping name).

Drag source and target tables in to mapping from sources and targets folder, once created the mapping save and validate by using (ctrl-s).

Informatica power center work flow manager:Step 2: Open work flow manager by clicking w on taskbar.

Next Click on tools on taskbar ->Task developer-> To create sessions.

Need to provide session name as(s_m_mappingname).

NextClick on session and edit to provide source and target connections in mapping.

NextSource connections:

Change the connections for the source definition.

Next:::Change the connections for the target definitions.

NextApply and click ok and (ctrl-s) to save and validate.

NextClick on tools ->click on work flow designer.

Then create workflow designer name(wf_workflow name).

NextDrag the session from the session folder into work flow designer.

Next::Click on task -> select linktask.

NextTo save the work flow designer and validate press(ctrl-s).

Next:: To run the work flow click on start work flow.

Informatica power center and work flow monitor:Step 3:After starting work flow hear we can see the status of our work flow .

To check the statistics of the source and target right click on session and select get run properties.

To check the source record successfully transfer to the target are not.
