menu tasting experience for two,
2–4 months prior to your wedding

To ensure the best menu selection

be confirmed 90 days prior to the

Minimum menu price required is
$49.00 per person.

When are guaranteed numbers required?
The guaranteed number of guests
attending is required fourteen (14) days
prior to the wedding date. The original
expected figure becomes the guaranteed
figure if the Event Manager is not notified.
When will I know how much the wedding
is going to cost?
Your Event Manager will provide you
with a cost estimate at any time. A final
cost estimate will be provided to you one
month prior to the event to determine
final payment.
Are there any extra fees I should be
aware of?
• A service charge of 15%, an
Administration and Facility Fee of
3.5% will be added. All meeting room,
food/beverage-related services are
subject to applicable taxes.
• The hotel is required by law to collect
a fee for royalties imposed by SOCAN
(Society of Composers, Authors and
Music Publishers) and Re:Sound when
copyrighted live or taped music is
performed. Unless the client produces
a licence from SOCAN and/or Re:Sound,
the hotel will collect and remit this fee
to SOCAN and/or Re:Sound. The fee is
based on the capacity of the room used
and not the actual attendees. Your Event
Manager will provide you with the rate
guide. For further information on

When are payments due?
50% of payment is due one month
prior and final payment is due seven
business days prior to wedding, less the
deposit on file.
Is there a parking charge?
Evening parking for nonhotel guests is
$2.50/hr. Overnight parking for guests
staying in the hotel is a rate of $18. Valet
parking is available for $25.
When can I book my wedding reception?
Weddings can be confirmed one year prior
to the date of the event.
What is required to confirm my wedding?
To guarantee your booking, the hotel must
receive the signed wedding agreement
with a $2,000 nonrefundable deposit.
Can we have our ceremony on site?
Your wedding ceremony can be hosted
on the terrace of the Palmer & Pope
Waterview Ballroom or the Harbourview
Ballroom that your reception is being
hosted in. Ceremony fee of $750
includes an indoor backup if weather
does not cooperate, set up and tear down
of ceremony.
Are there menu options for children?
Children are special guests that deserve
to be treated as that! Meals for children
under the age of six are complimentary
and they can enjoy a special menu or the
regular dinner menu offered in
smaller portions.
What decorations does the hotel provide?
The hotel provides all of the setup for your
ceremony and reception, including white
or black napkins, white tablecloths and
white skirting. To add a personal touch, we
encourage the bridal party to enhance the
setup with added décor from one of our
preferred vendors.
What decorations is the hotel unable
to accept?
To avoid damage to our painted walls,
we ask that our clients refrain from
taping, tacking or attaching any items to
the walls. We also ask that no confetti or
confetti-like items be used on the hotel
premises. Open-flamed candles are also
not permitted.
Can outside food and alcohol be
brought in?
Due to provincial health regulations
and the PEILCC, outside food or alcohol
is not permitted. Wedding cakes or items
preapproved by the Event Manager are
permitted, at the full responsibility of
the supplier.
Who is responsible for removal of gifts?
The bridal party is responsible for moving
and storing gifts, with assistance options
available. The hotel will not be responsible
for damage or loss of any personal
property left in the hotel prior to, during or
following any functions. All items must be
picked up by noon the following day.
What time is the party over?
Bar service ends at 2:00 a.m., and we ask
that guests depart the event space no
later than 2:30 a.m.
