1 - Description

The SimRDispXX is a family of external data display for driving simulators/games. Segment displays shows important informations like speed (kph/mph), gear, fuel (liters/gallons), pit limiter and over traction/tc overriding.SimRDisp1X/7X is a USB powered device and it was designed to simulate a realistic racing display layout for a better racing experience.Full-range RPM indicator with progressive lights brightness for a better no-look visual. Developed with professional components and materials, SimRDispXX Family products actually supports rFactor, Live for Speed, Arca Sim Racing, iRacing and rF2 (from release).

2 - Installation

Requirements before installation:

1) .NET Framework 2.0 *2) DirectX End-User Runtime **

Step 1:Insert the gaming software cd, setup.exe will opened with autorun; if not, open your cd drive folder and launch setup.exe manually.

Step 2:Follow the SimRDispXX Manager setup wizard to install it on your PC. Step 3:Plug the SimRDispXX unit to a free usb port of your pc. Do not use any hub, plug it directly to USB !Extension cable (2M max) is permitted.

Step 4:Follow each step of the Windows wizard for install the required drivers, if the operating system does not find driver automatically, select the path manually to CD Drive:\Drivers (ie: D:\Drivers).

Step 5:Installation is now completed. Launch SimRDispXX Manager.exe*** to use your unit with your favourite sim/game.

3 – Layout Overview

4 - SimRDispXX Manager

4.1 – SimRDispXX Sim WizardThe Sim Wizard is launched automatically during SimRDispXX Manager.exe first-time running allowing user to install/uninstall each single plugin. Alternatively, user can launch the Sim Wizard simply clicking on wizard's button in Active Sim tab.

4.2 – Active SimThe Active Sim tab contains a radio-buttons group for select and activate properly sim/game's plugin.User can easy change the sim's installation path with path-browsing button for a quick plugin installation on different sim's folder. The wizard button starts the SimRDispXX Sim Wizard for manage each available plugin.

4.2.1 – rFactorrFactor plugin is Manager-independant. This means that after the Plugin installation with the SimRDispXX Sim Wizard, the player does not need to launch the Manager before playing the sim. Once installed, the plugin will be loaded and closed automatically by rFactor.

4.2.2 – Arca Sim RacingSame as rFactor.

4.2.3 – Live for SpeedLive for Speed plugin is managed directly from the Manager. User has to open properly plugin from SimRDispXX Manager application before playing the game.

4.2.4 – iRacingSame as Live for Speed. The only difference is that it will close automatically when user exit the game.

4.3 – SettingsSettings tab allows the user to customize the device's settings for each installed sim/game. Settings like RPM LED Levels, Speed and Fuel measurement units, the Pit-Lane LEDs flashing interval and the function assigned to the 13th led (special function).

4.4 – AdvancedAdvanced tab contains device's info and toolkit for testing the device communication. The Options sub-group has some extra stuff/settings about the SimRDispXX Manager.exe .
