The improved RotorSwing 140 Multiprovides unsurpassed roll damping while at anchor and at speeds up to 25 kts.

Since the RotorSwing is placed nearly horizontally, far greater roll damping forces apply. The Rotors are also retractable, through which they can extend beyond the ship’s envelope, which in turn also adds to the lift forces.

Excellent roll damping up to 25 knots is performed by theRotorswing140 Multi in the AtFullSpeed mode.

The AtFullSpeed mode is a brand new development byRotorSwing Marine, to open up the market for fast traveling ships. This roll damping version is therefore considered to be our flagship! It offers roll damping while at anchor, whilecruisingcruising at low throttle, while idling and at velocities up to25 knots.

CFD (Computational Flow Dynamics) studies and practical rigorous testings of the system have proven that it is nowcapable of roll reduction up to 80%, while at anchor and speeds up to 25 knots!

Our patented Adaptive Rake™ will automatically set theoptimumoptimum Rotor angle for a specific velocity, to ensure thehighest possible roll reduction while minimizing drag. For safety reasons, all RotorSwing systems automatically retract when the engines are set to neutral or while going astern.

The ATCruiseSpeed mode of the RotorSwing 140 MULTIprovides roll damping, starting at approximately 3 knots.

This stabilizer is a cost effective and retractable solution forsemi-displacement vessels, requiring powerful roll damping while cruising at lower speeds. This invention is build around the Magnus effect, named after Dr. Gustav Magnus.

TheThe RAKE function, patented by RotorSwing Marine, bringsthe Rotors to a predefined angle towards the aft and can beenabled at higher cruising speeds. This RAKE functionsignificantly lowers drag without any noticeable loss of rolldamping.

As opposed to fin stabilizers, this roll damping systemgenerates high lift forces, while cruising at lower speeds.SinceSince the Rotors are placed nearly horizontally, all of its Lift-force is used to stabilize your yacht. This is another greatbenefit compared to other roll damping systems, making itthe most powerful stabilizer system on the market.

Our latest and most competitive invention is the Rotor-Swing 140 Multi with AtZeroSpeed mode.

This Patented roll damping system uses the Magnus effectforce when the vessel sits at anchor or is just afloat. Byswinging the rotors back and forth, the RotorSwingproduces powerful roll damping lift forces. BesidesAtZeroSpeed™, also AtCruiseSpeed™ and AtFullSpeed™are included in this system. A unique system for rolldamping at almost any velocity.

Roll damping for vessels at anchor or adrift is gainingpopularity. This RotorSwing 140 system is very powerfuland simply has to be felt in order to truly belief it. Not onlycancan the crew enjoy a much more stable anchorage in a choppy bay or cove but also while being hindered by the wash from fast cruising or larger vessels.

Our electric driven RotorSwing 140 is simply the mostpowerful and diverse stabilization system on the market.
