Important NotesAt any point in time, once you are logged in, you can click on the top black bar to access the backend. You can click on any of the links available and navigate from there on.

• The backend also called the administration portal, or editing panel, or the dashboard. Basically, its just place for authenticated users to use to add/edit/delete content.

• In this user guide, some examples uses Badminton, some screenshot show Football etc. It doesn’t matter what sport is used to show, because all sports page behave the same way. The use of actual sports terms are interchangeable.

How To Login

Step 1: Go to SSSC website www.sssc.sg.Step 2: Click on the top right login link as shown

Step 3: Enter your username/password and login

How To Logout

1. Hover your mouse over the top black bar, at the top right corner and click “logout”; OR

2. Go to the SPSSC website and click “logout”

Step 1: Login to your accountStep 2: Go to “Games Posts” sidebar link and click on “Add Game Post”

Step 3: You will see the editor. First, type in the title of content.Step 4: Click on “Visual” as shown. Type the content you want to put into the post.

Step 5: To add documents, images etc, click on “Add Media” and “Upload Files”Step 6: Select from your computer what to add. You can select more than one by holding “CTRL”.

Step 7: After upload is done, click on “Insert to page”

Step 8: Your content editor will now have a link to the file

Step 9: Decide if you want this new post to appear at the Game Sidebar. If yes, tick the box.

Step 10: Choose a Sports Category at theright sidebar, which is Badminton in this example.

Step 11: Hit the “Publish” button at top right. DONE!

Step 1: Login to your accountStep 2: Go to “Games Posts” sidebar link and click on it

Step 3: You will see a long list of games content. To see everything, click on “Screen Options”, choose a number of posts to see, and then click apply.

Step 4: Search for the game you want to add/edit (eg Badminton) and click the button.

Step 5: You will see a list of posts for “Badminton” search results

Step 6: Click on the one you want to edit.

Important NotesThere will probably be confusion over the following and when it can be used:

1. How to Add Game Sidebar To A Game Post2. How to Add Game Post To Games Sidebar

Item 1: Say you have a existing Game Post, named “Tennis 2020”. This Game Post wouldn’t have the Tennis sidebar attached to it, because the default website sidebar is not Tennis. Hence, you need to add the Tennis Sidebar to the Game Post. This is when you do Item 1.

Item 2: The Tennis sidebar is made of links. These links wouldn’t automatically change to prevent cluttering, just like how the website navigation menu wouldn’t automatically change. Hence, you need to add Game Post to it, if you want to feature it on the sidebar. Anytime you want your content to appear on the Sports sidebar, you do Item 2.

Step 1: Open the game post you want to add to the games sidebar and select the sidebar you want to add into.

For example, you want to the post “Artistic Gymnastics Results 2013”, to display the Gymnastics sidebar. Select the sidebar as below at the lower right hand corner of the edit page

How to Add Game Post To Games Sidebar

Step 1: Mouse-over on “Appearance”, and click on “Menu”

Step 2: Select an item from the menu to edit, and then click “Select”.

Step 3: Click on “Games Posts” at the left side, then “Search”, then key in the keyword, for example “Cricket”. You see two results. Click on the checkbox and click “Add to Menu”

Step 4: You can now drag and drop the menu according to what you want. DO NOT CLICK ON THE CHECKBOXES. Click on the “Save Menu” when you are done arranging/adding. DONE!

Step 1: Login to your accountStep 2: Go to “Galleries” sidebar link and click it.Step 3: Click on the “Add Gallery” link

Step 4: Fill in the Title, BUT LEAVE THE CONTENT EDITOR BLANK

Step 5: Choose the category. Depending on the type, the settings will change

Step 6a: For Photos, click the “Add Image” button and upload the files from your computer.

Step 6b: For Videos, you need to upload into YouTube or other video sites first. Click on “Add New Video” for more video spaces. Fill in the video title, description and copy paste embed script.

Step 1: Login to your accountStep 2: Go to “Galleries” sidebar link and click it.

Step 3: Look for the gallery you want to edit. Click it.

Step 4a: Scroll down and you will see a photo gallery box. Here, you can edit/delete the photo. Click on the X button to delete.

Step 4b: Scroll down and you will see a video gallery box. Here, you can edit/delete the video. Edit the title and descriptions of the videos. Copy paste the embed code from YouTube or other videos sites as shown.
