How to Assign Licenses to the Hardware and

Generate the License Key

Sequence

The envelope supplied contains the

Certificate of License(s).

The imprinted

• license number and

• dispatch note number

is required for the A&D Web License Manager.

Determine the hardware serial number and the product

designation from the HMI licensing dialog or from you CF-

card.

With HMI Advanced / HMI Embedded, this dialog is

accessed

via the operating area switchover key:

Commissioning -> etc. (">") key -> Licenses -> Overview

Name

Enter the license number resp. dispatch note number.

Customer Name

Enter the hardware serial

number and select the

product

Customer Name

Overview of all licenses, which are already assigned to

the CF-card

Customer Name

The available licenses on the selected dispatch note are displayed here. You can assign (additional) licenses to the hardware here.

Customer Name

The machine identifier can be changend here: Click on the „i“-Symbol

Customer Name

Enter the new machine identifier and click save and close

Choose the licenses that shpuld be assigned

Overview of the selected licenses

You can assign the licenses to the

specified hardware by clicking the

<Assign > button.

The license key contains all licenses assigned to the CF-card

Save license key as .alm-file on an USB-stick

Either enter license-key manually…

…or import .alm-file from USB-stick

Insert USB-stick and

select USB

Select .alm-file…

…and confirm with OK
