SIQA USER GUIDE

J75 – C75 SIQA Auto Density Uniformity instructions

version 2.1 December 14

■Introduction

This document explains the Smile Correction (Density uniformity) operation using the new application, so-called

SIQA, Simple Image Quality Adjustment.

Conventionally, for example on 700 family printers and other products, we have to spend long time to correct the

Inboard to Outboard Image Quality issues.

SIQA makes this complicated operation to an easy one, completed in approx. 5 minutes.

■Environment - Prerequisites

- Printer

- Client PC with SIQA application installed. (OS: Windows)

Pre-Adjustment steps • Record the IP address to be use later on the SIQA tool. There are different ways to find this IP address

depending of the DFE used on your printer.

o For user with FFPS DFE Server, the IP address can be found on the Printer UI panel. Access

Machine status and record the IPv4 address.

o For user with EFI DFE standalone server, the IP address needed is the EFI IP address and can be

found on the configuration sheet OR by accessing the Device Center in the General folder inside

the Command Workstation.

o For user with EFI Integrated server, the IP address needed is the EFI server and can be found by

printing the configuration sheet – powering on and off the IOT will force the EFI Integrated to submit

that configuration sheet.
