She is the First Lady of the United States, but she is using that influence to serve the greater good. Michelle Obama is a beautiful wife and mother first, but she is also influential because she had started the Let’s Move campaign to get America more healthy.

She needs NO introduction: Oprah Winfrey has been an inspiration to not just black women, but ALL women over the past 25 years. She accomplished so much with her TV show, magazine and production company. Not bad for a little black girl from Mississippi.

This sister-duo have brought a whole new fan base to the world of tennis, and have actually inspired young black girls to start playing. Venus and Serena both have won titles on their own, but also have come together to win doubles championships, including an Olympic Gold medals

in 2000 & 2008.

She is one of the biggest entertainers of our generation. Who else can have a baby who becomes a trending topic when it’s born? Beyonce’ has plenty of awards and has sold many albums, but the best thing is that she has put in the
