Anchor Youth Ministry NCYC 2021 Trip Service Fundraiser

Please join us for an Evening of Recollection on Tuesday, July 27 from 6-8pm beginning in the church. The evening will include a brief

talk, an audio meditation, a guided examination of conscience,

opportunity for confession, as well as plenty of time for personal

prayer. The topic of July's Recollection is "God as Father." For the

schedule and full details visit www.stceciliaparish.org/eor.

"I am so thankful for the Evenings of Recollection. It’s been a great opportunity to step away from the noise and chaos of life and

really focus on being still and listening. The talks are insightful and inspiring. At the end of the night, I always end up feeling

rejuvenated, and prepared for whatever life might throw at me. I highly recommend it!" --Terri Simodynes

Please Remember in your Prayers:

Ralph Mattingly

(father of Christina Murphy)

May the Lord grant peace and consolation

to his family in their time of need. May he,

and all who sleep in Christ, find God’s

presence, light, happiness, and peace.

In today’s Gospel, Jesus had planned to slip

away from the crowds for a few moments of

peace and a little rest. When He saw people

gathered, however, He put His needs aside to

meet the needs of others. Sometimes, as good

stewards, we are called to do the same.
