From the Pastor’s Desk In the charity of your prayers, please pray for the soul of Barbara Ober- meyer, whose Funeral Mass was on Friday, April 29 here at St. Rose. Elliot Anna Najarian was welcomed into the Christian community through the sacrament of Baptism on Saturday, April 30 here at St. Rose. St. Rose is looking for an individual to fill a part-time maintenance posi- tion at the church. It’s a perfect opportunity for a retired individual. If you are interested, please contact Fr. Barry. Are you spring cleaning soon? On May 21 and 22, we will have our annu- al Bundle Sunday for St. Vincent de Paul. If you would like to get rid of any used clothing or household items, St. Vincent de Paul will gladly take them to help those in need. There will be a truck in the parking lot that weekend for your donations. Please join with your fellow parishioners and all the other parishes in the archdiocese as we all work together to support the Catholic Ministries Appeal. In celebration of St. Rose’s 150th year in 2017, we will be publishing a Parish Cookbook featuring the recipes of our parishioners and alumni of the St. Rose School.
