Tiny Time Tales: Billy BriteWritten & directed by Cheryl Govan

29 March, 10.30am26 April, 10.30am

Billy Brite is 8 years old today and he loves nothing more than to play with his friend Jack and Jack’s lovely, very clever dog, Columbus.

When Billy comes across an enormous globe of the world in his Gran’s attic some very strange things begin to happen.

Join Billy as he spins the globe and sets off on an adventure around the world. Help Billy explore the mystery of what happened to Columbus and find out why all the people he meets bear a striking resemblance to Jack?

Will he ever catch up with Columbus or be reunited with the real Jack?

Tiny Time Tales: Colin The Caveman Invents The WheelWritten by Cheryl Govan

26 July & 2,9,16,23 August, 10.30amColin is a very busy caveman. He lives in his luxury cave with his wife Carla and their six naughty cave kiddies.

With so much to do and so little time, Colin is always on the lookout for new ways to make his life just that little bit easier. He’s always inventing crazy contraptions, incredible inventions and weird widgets. Trouble is they’re all a bit rubbish. Colin dreams of a day when he will invent something that actually works.

Why don’t you come along and help Colin invent the wheel? The usual Tiny Time Tales fun and nonsense with plenty of singing and dancing around the campfire (if we get around to discovering fire!).

£2.50

Stephen Joseph Youth Theatre 12-14yrs presents

The Musicians By Patrick MarberDirected by Cheryl Govan & assisted by Ernie Acquah

20 & 21 June, 7.00pmThe orchestra of Ridley Road, a local comprehensive, is to give a concert in Moscow at the European Festival of Youth, playing Tchaikovsky’s Fourth Symphony before an audience of cultural bigwigs. It’s the first time most of them have left their home town. How exciting!

Unfortunately, shortly before they are due to go on stage, they discover that their instruments have been impounded by Customs due to the foolishness of Second Flute.

Luckily, Alex, a Russian teenager who cleans the hall, is a lot brighter than he first appears. Can he save the day with his crazy idea?

A comedy featuring not one single musical instrument. Contains some strong language.
