A synthetic diestone with a thixotropic consistency. It exhibits high scratch resistance, excellent strength and produces dental models with extremely smooth surfaces. It has a compressive strength of 60Mpa (dry), and a working time of up to 7 minutes.

Outstanding characteristics, combining strength and scratch resistance to produce consistently perfect models. Compressive strength of 97MPa (dry), and a working time of 5-7 minutes.

An all round lubricant with an aniseed oil additive to give better flow characteristics. Made for us by the German manufacturers of Xynon.

Skillbond currently employ 41 members of staff, combining over 350 years of experience, from under a year to 29 years, everyone has access and participates in a comprehensive training programme provided by Vincent

Purkiss and Ines Landberg – Vincent alone has 29 years with Skillbond and 33 years as a technician. Ines, joined Skillbond in 2011 and has over 14 years experience as a Prosthetic Technician, working in the UK as well as Germany, is a valuable addition to our International Education Centre.

Whilst Skillbond continue to expand and develop the building in High Wycombe, to incorporate a new state of the art laboratory, conference and seminar facility, we will be able to provide technicians from all over the UK and Ireland access to a comprehensive range of courses from the basic to the advanced. We are grateful to the support we have been given by numerous laboratories and institutions around the country to enable us to continue to award 1,000’s of hours of verifiable CPD points. Within the warehouse we are constantly meeting head-on the logistical challenges that every company

faces within the current environment such as rising fuel prices and changes to legislation with regards to the transportation of hazardous goods. Through constant negotiation with our carrier network we continue to offer a competitive, reliable, next-day delivery service. In addition we strive to improve, where possible, the environmental impact of our business through recycling.
