The tall buildings of tomorrow are changing thanks to the emergence of intelligent technologies and smart materials.

But at their heart, our buildings must have a sense of place, not only at street level but also through the creation of vertical “places” which encourage healthy, active living and engaged communities.

Centrepiece of the Jumeirah Lakes development designed to refl ect the character and uniqueness of the Diamond Exchange facility accommodated within.

The podium design is inspired by the cut of a diamond with projecting facets. Each facet cantilevers out over the lake, with a generous roof lantern allowing daylight to illuminate the trading fl oor and facilitate expert diamond inspection and trading.
