The new lab replaced the existing, dated lab and was increased in size due to new regulation and testing requirements. LED lighting throughout provides even illumination for lab tasks. Fume hoods located on perimeter allow for more efficient workflow.

The existing lab facility was deteriorating, and needed to be replaced. After many assessments, the new lab was placed outside of the blast-risk area to help reduce costs. Multiple lab areas are combined into a large, open space to aid in workflow and visual safety
