Meet And Celebrate On North

Fondly remembered as Besse-Clarke, a legend-ary menswear and sport-ing goods emporium, Hotel on North is the first new hotel in downtown Pittsfield in decades. The boutique hotel is a complete rebuild of side-by-side brick buildings that were built in the 1880s and listed on the Na-tional Register of Historic Places. Hotel on North honors this legacy by preserv-ing and restoring period architectural features such as columns, brick walls, tin ceilings, and historic color schemes.

Heritage On North

Hotel on North is the newest addition to the thriving downtown of Pittsfield, the cultural heart of The Berkshires in West-ern Mass with more than 20 restaurants, galleries and boutiques all within walk-ing distance of the hotel. As part of a re-energized business and technology corridor in the region, Pittsfield is also the central location to explore the cul-ture and cuisine of The Berkshires, which is home to Tanglewood, the Barrington Stage Company, MASS MoCA, Jacob’s Pillow Dance, Berkshire Theatre Group, Berkshire Museum, The Colonial Theatre and more.
