who has created you out of one living entity, and out
of it created its mate, and out of the two spread
abroad a multitude of men and women. And remain
conscious of God (Allah), in whose name you demand
[your rights] from one another, and of these ties of
kinship. Verily, God (Allah) is ever watchful over you!”

bondwoman [of Allah] is certainly better than a woman who

you greatly. And do not give your women in marriage to men
who ascribe divinity to aught beside Allah (MUSHRIK) ere they
attain to [true] belief: for- any believing bondman [of Allah] is
certainly better than a man who ascribes divinity to aught beside
Allah, even though he please you greatly …”

forgiveness by His leave; and He makes clear His messages unto

are not lawful [wives] for them, nor are they lawful
[husbands] for them. But give the disbelievers what they
have spent …”

“… And there is no blame upon you if you marry them when
you have given them their due compensation. And hold not
to marriage bonds with disbelieving women, but ask for
what you have spent and let them ask for what they have
spent. That is the judgement of God (Allah); He judges
between you. And God (Allah) is Knowing and Wise.”

“O YOU who have attained to faith! (Save) Ward off from yourselves
and those who are close to you that fire [of the hereafter] whose fuel is
human beings and stones: [lording] over it are angelic powers
awesome [and] severe, who do not disobey God (Allah) in whatever He
has commanded them, but [always] do what they are bidden to do.”
(Qur’an: Tahrim: 66: 6)

LET IT NOT deceive thee that those who are bent on
denying the truth seem to be able to do as they please on
earth: it is [but] a brief enjoyment, with hell thereafter as
their goal - and how vile a resting-place! - whereas those
who remain conscious of their Sustainer shall have gardens
through which running waters flow, therein to abide: a
ready welcome from God (Allah). And that which is with
God (Allah) is best for the truly virtuous.”
(Qur’an: Aali ‘Imran: 3: 196-198)

“And, behold, among the followers of earlier revelation
there are indeed such as [truly] believe in God (Allah), and
in that which has been bestowed from on high upon you as
well as in that which has been bestowed upon them.
Standing in awe of God (Allah), they do not barter away
God’s (Allah's) messages for a trifling gain. They shall have
their reward with their Sustainer - for, behold, God (Allah)
is swift in reckoning!”

“Today, all the good things of life have been made lawful to you.
And the food of those who have been vouchsafed revelation
aforetime is lawful to you, and your food is lawful to them. And
[lawful to you are], in wedlock, women from among those who
believe [in this divine writ], and, in wedlock, women from among
those who have been vouchsafed revelation before your time -
provided that you give them their dowers, taking them in honest
wedlock, not in fornication, nor as secret love-companions. But as
for him who rejects belief [in Allah] - in vain will be all his works:
for in the life to come he shall be among the lost.”
(Qur’an: Maa-idah: 5: 199)
