1. From April 12-23, the Gainesville Theater Alliance (GTA) present their 2010-2011 main stage season finale A Midsummers Night Dream in the Ed Cabell Theater of Gainesville State College.

2. It is only within the past two years that GTA has had enough males in the program for GTA to present Shakespearian plays. In their 2009-2010 season, GTA present Romeo and Juliet.
3. This is the last production for graduating seniors, wither they are on the stage or behind the scenes its sad time for those who will be leaving GTA.
4. As the last show of the 2010-2011 season, season ticketsfor the 2011-2012 season officially went on sell. This season includes the plays James and the Giant Peach, Hairspray, The Grapes of Wrath, The 25th Annual Putnam City SPELLING BEE, and The Importance of Being Earnest.
5. This particular rendition of Midsummers Night Dream, GTA made the creative choice of going with a Victorian style of dress.
6. Also GTA took an interesting take on their presentation of the faeries. It took many by pleasant surprise. An viewer who would like to remain unnamed said I have seen many Midsummers Night Dreams but these have had to be the best fairies I have seen.
7. On sell at every GTA show is memorabilia about the show, the time period, and its playwright.
8. Such memorabilia include books of trivia, books of fairies, and a board game all about both Shakespeares life and works.
9. The show ended up a success, will all the shows sold out it was hard to get it but definitely worth bringing on the waiting list for.
