Step 1front view of the can.

Step 2step on the pedalkeep the lid open.

Step 3remove the liddisconnect the rod from the lid.

Step 4turn the can up side down to locate the metal wire screws.

Step 5remove the screws and metal wireusing a screw driver.

Step 6use a screw driver to remove the pedalstarting with the left side.

Step 7repeat step 6 on the right side as well.Now the pedal is free to remove.

Step 8slide the pedal and rod to the right sidedisconnect them from the damper piston.

Step 10 locate the damper screws at the rear of the can.

Step 11remove the damper screwsusing a screw driver.

Step 13remove the damper housing screwsusing a screw driver.

Step 14remove the damper housing and piston from the damper base..

Step 15pull out the piston from damper housing.

Step 16replace the piston with a new one, andpush it back into position. Please noticethe direction of the piston.

Step 12locate the damper housing screws.

secure the damper housing and piston on the damper base.fastern the screws using a screw driver.

Step 19connect the rod to the pedal.

Step 20slide the pedal and rod from the right sideconnect them to the damper piston.

Step 22push the pedal back into position.

Step 23put the metal wire in positionfastern the screws.
