Dear players, dear parents.The game of golf is demanding, difficult and time consuming process. Young players need to attend school, study and invest a lot of free time for training and playing on tournaments. They deserve our respect and admiration. Their life is quite similar to adults working two jobs at the time. That effort deserves to be supported and that’s the idea of IMP PUMPS – support-ing the tournament we support effort of these young players trying to give them opportunity to play in the best international participation in our region.But, please children, do not forget your parents who are cru-cial factors in this time consuming sport. They are your driv-ers, caddies, coaches, investors, supporters,… All of that at the same time. Give them your love and gratitude because they are very few people who are always on your side.

GREETINGS
Only about 20 km from capital city of Slovenia, situated in a pictur-esque and hilly landscape, lies Arboretum Golf Course Ljubljana. Course is only 20 minutes from City of Ljubljana and is easily acces-sible from different parts of the country including tourist centres like Bled, Bohinj, Kranjska gora. Even Portoroz is only an hour and a half drive away.The 18-hole Arboretum golf course Ljubljana is one of the most ver-satile and beautiful in Slovenia. Placed into versatile landscape, it is known for diverse golf challenges and beautiful surroundings with Slovenian mountains adding to the calm atmosphere of the place.Playing at Arboretum Golf Course Ljubljana truly relaxes one’s mind and is an unforgettable experience for every golf enthusiast. Many claim that if you can play at Arboretum Golf Ljubljana, you can play any golf course in Slovenia.Wishes of many white ball game lovers from the Slovenian capital and nearby came true in 1998 when in the close proximity of Volčji Potok park first 9holes of Arboretum golf course saw light for the first time.Extraordinary natural habitat, beautiful golf course and a rapid devel-opment of the game in Slovenia lead to the construction of second 9 holes in the year2003. Since then Golf Arboretum Ljubljana Slovenia is regarded as one of the finest in Slovenia where the level of difficul-ty of the terrain and the greens is a real test of technical and practical knowledge for each player. Golf course is situated in a picturesque landscape in the middle of pine forests, lakes and other natural splendors. The view over the Kamniške Alps and direct proximityof Arboretum Volčji Potok park ensure a wonderful experience, hilly 18-hole course is a challenge even for the best. A driving range and four greens are meant for those who wish to improve their game even more.

HOW TO GET THERE

CAR ACCESS BY HIGHWAYThe exit on Ljubljana - Maribor highway is marked in both directions (exit Nr. 24, Domžale). Follow the road towards Radomlje. On the roundabout in Radomlje take the second exit towards Arboretum then follow the signs for the golf course. The distance from the highway’s exit to the golf course Arboretum is approximately 6,5km.
CAR ACCESS THROUGH MENGEŠOn the route Ljubljana - Kamnik drive through Trzin then avoid city of Mengeš on the newly built bypass road around the town. Follow the sings for Kamnik. When reaching Kamnik take the second exit on the first round-about towards Arboretum. After 650m you will reach the second round-about where you have to take the first exit towards Arboretum. Continue driving through the fields on the both sides of the road and after approx-imately 500m turn left and continue driving through the village and small forest and you will arive to the Golf course Arboretum.

ENTRY FEE30€ entry fee payed at registration includes: • opening cremony dinner, • practice round,• 3 tournament golf rounds,• lunch on each tournament day.
DRIVING RANGE1 bucket of golf balls costs 3,00€ (you can use your change directly - no need for tokens).
LOCKER ROOMSLocker Rooms are available for players. Ask for the keys at the reception of the golf course Arboretum.
MEDICAL SERVICEA first aid service with doctor and ambulance is available during the whole competition.
BAG STORAGEBag storage is NOT available for the players.
DRESS CODEA proper dress code is expected at all times, both on the course and in the Club House. Jeans are strictly prohibited. Shoes with soft spikes must be worn.

1.) RULES AND CONDITIONS The tournament will be played in accordance with:- The 2019 Rules of Golf, as approved by the R&A Rules Limited and The United States Golf Association,- The 2021 Slovenian Golf Association Hard Card,- WHS 2020 - Rules of Handicapping - R&A Rules Limited and The United States Golf- The Conditions and Local Rules approved by the Tournament Committee and the conditions are:A) A competitor is prohibited from having caddie during the stipulated round.
B) Players are obliged to walk during stipulated round.
C) Tournament Committee reserves right to: - Disqualify any competitor making a false statement on his entry form;- Reject for the next calendar year any competitor who did not send a notifi-cation of his intention to withdraw from the competition to the Championship committee before the Championship or withdraw at any stage of the Champi-onship. Exemptions may be made in case of sickness with an authorised medical cer-tificate given to the Entries Department and other special circumstances at the discretion of the Championship Committee.
D) Specific Conditions Please note that in this Championship the following Spec-imen Conditions of Competition and Local Rules as specified in the Appendix 1 of the Rules of Golf are in the effect:- List of Conforming Driver Heads;- List of Conforming Golf Balls;- Transportation (riding on any form of transportation is strictly prohibited);- Distance-Measuring Devices (use of DMDs is allowed).
E) Starting Players should report to the Starter on the 1st tee no later than 10 minutes prior to their start time
F) Pin positions will be distributed by the Starter on the 1st tee each day
G) Pace of Play Policy is in accordance with the Slovenian golf Association Hard Card

In the event of a tie for the first place the winner will be decided by a hole by hole playoff. For any further tie will be decided based on the final stipu-lated 36, 18, 9, 6, 3, holes or last hole in that order.
3.) TOURNAMENT DRAW
• 1st Round draw will be displayed and distributed at 19:00 hours on Thursday 17th of June on Slovenian Golf Association web page under Championships and in front of the Club house Arboretum.
• 2nd and 3rd round draws, will be based on the performance and will be displayed at 19:00 hours on Friday and Saturday on same places as for the 1st round.
4.) SCORE RECORDING
• Players are strongly advised to mark their scorecards after each hole• Players are asked to provide officials with their scores after the 9th
hole on each day for the purpose of the Live Leaderboard;• Mobile Scoreboards will accompany the last couple of groups which
are still in position for the win on Sunday• The Official Score Recorder’s Office will be located near The Tourna-
ment Office;• A player’s scorecard is deemed officially returned when he/she left The
Score Recorder’s Office.
COMPETITION TERMS & CONDITIONS5.) ELIGIBILITY
144 Competitors shall be eligible to compete (94 Boys / 50 Girls), with an WHS Handicap Index regarding to category, certified by the respective Handicap Authority and must have been valid on the date of entry. If the number of entries exceed 144 places, the starting field will be decided by Handicap ballot.
Unsuccessful entrants will be informed immediately after the closing date and will be placed on a waiting list and given the opportunity to compete if there are subsequent withdrawals.
Exemptions - The following will be exempt from the ballot provided this satisfies the handicap requirements: The Slovenian Golf Association nomi-nates ten (10) boys and ten (10) girls as seen bellow (WC).

The winners will be presented with the trophies. The three best players in each category will be awarded with a Championship cup. Other prizes will be given in accordance to the amateur rules.
9.) NATIONS CUP
Eligible for play of the Nations Cup are teams of two or three players, who entered the competition before closing date and have been named by their National Association/Federation/Union in advance to the Slovenian Golf Asso-ciation office or during the practice day until 05:00 p.m. in the golf club.
Each country may entre up to three boys’ teams and three girls’ teams.
In the event of a tie for the first place the winning team shall be decided by better result from the best team member. In case of other ties, the better result on last 36, 18, 9, 6, 3, 1 hole will decide.
The winners will receive the Challenge trophy of the Slovenian Golf Associa-tion up to the third place: - International Slovenian Boys Championship - Nations Cup 1st - 3rd place- International Slovenian Girls Championship - Nations Cup 1st - 3rd place
10.) ENTRIES
Entries must be made on the official Entry Form only.Entries start date is 1st of April 2021.Entry Form must be received by the Slovenian Golf Association not later than Friday 4th of June 2021 at 12:00am (CET), by fax or e-mail fully completed.Entrants must confirm in all respects to the Rules of Amateur Status and shall sign declaration to that effect contained in the Entry Form.

11.) WITHDRAWALS
Withdrawals, both before and after the closing date of entries, shall be communicated by email no later than the day before the beginning of the competition until 11.30am (CET).
12.) REGISTRATION
All players must register at the reception of Golf Arboretum Ljubljana on the day before the championship until 03:00pm (CET).A competitor who does not register up to this date and time is liable to be withdrawn from the championship. If a player is unable to register in person, a registration by another person, via fax or e-mail will be accepted.
