The ECO Frame

1

The striking features of the ECO-Profitanker are its particularly low net weight, a low centre of gravity and a high level of stability. The frame was specially optimised for this and now offers optimal function as a slurry pipe. The bigger cross-section of the frame offers a lower counter pressure than a conventional delivery pipe. This saves the force on the drive end, reducing wear on the pump. The tank can be installed lower because the usual delivery pipe is missing. The centre of gravity is lower, however there is still enough space for a suction pipe.

Around 200 kg is gained compared to a standard pump tank trailer. This weight advantage is highlighted through smooth running and clear savings on diesel, reducing fuel costs and harm to the environment. Ground pressure is also reduced due to the lower weight.

2

The ECO ProfiTankerThe new 15,500 - 27,000 litre S-class tankers

Allowing the liquid manure to flow through the frame, therefore saving weight and space wasa great achievement for our engineers. The frame offers a bigger cross-section than a normal delivery pipe and there are no energy-consuming elbows so the flow resistance is lower – the pump and frame form an effective unit. ECO Profitankers are equipped with a lower coupling as standard.

Drawbar suspension:A drawbar suspension also offers a higher level of comfort with a standard lower coupling. Gas springs working in parallel smooth out uneven-ness, almost completely preventing the tractor rising. The slurry tanker and tractors are equally protected. The hydraulic elevating mechanism enables adjustment for various tractors. To improve traction in the field, the column load can be increased by lowering the forward spring.

The ECO-DUO ProfiTankerHigh performance and efficiency

The ECO-DUO is the newest highlight of the Profitanker series. The operating principle of the ECO ProfiTanker has been further revamped and now has a dual pump in the transverse installa-tion, two three-way valves and two delivery pipes.

A double suction and delivery pipe is possible through the dual pump – up to an unbelievable 13,000 l/min.

The liquid manure flows through the left and right parts of the frame, halving the filling time. The two separate switching valves on the rear of the slurry tanker provide the separator heads left and right with their own pump, which optimises the transverse distribution on slopes.

The distribution can be switched on or off individually,

3

For the best possible maintenance, a quick service with pumps that are freely accessible from the side is possible at a comfortable height.

The in-built reducing gear allows the use of power take off speeds 540-750-1000 of the tractor so that the maximum pump driving speed does not exceed 650U/min. With the suction process comes rapid driving speed with lower motor driving speed. Depending on the ground formation, a lower driving speed can be provided for lower output amounts.

The three-point/four-point pick-up with hydraulic and electrical connections allows a category III distributor to be mounted. In doing this, the maximum total weight and load weight should be complied with.

> Saving of weight and space

> Lower pressure in the pipe system

> Lower centre of gravity for better driving stability

> Faster filling and output

> Lower fuel use

Pump TankersM Series (ECO)

We have developed a medium “M-Series” between the large “S-Series” and the small “K-Series”. This tandem slurry tanker with 12,500 – 15,500 or 17,000 litres is different from the “K-Series” and can be equipped with tyres up to 750/60R30.5. These ProfiTankers are also produced in modern ‘EGO’ designs in connection with positive rotary pumps. The M-Series is distinguished by very large-volume tyres with a low centre of gravity and low net weight. All EGO design advantages from the large S-Series are integrated, e.g. lower hitching with ball and automatic limit switch. The tankers are most suitable for difficult terrain and pressure-sensitive soil.

5

Pump TankersK Series

> Extremely low weight

> Less pressure on the soil

> Lower power requirement of the

pump

> Constant delivery rate, whether

thick or thin, self-priming, safe to

run dry

> All distributor systems are possible

> Full downhill emptying

> Reverse pump by simple

rotation of the joint shaft

For over 30 years, the K-series has proven to be the best. The short, compact and lightweight design of the tank is prized by many customers. The slurry flows on the outlet side through a separate delivery pipe behind the three-way valve. In a few minutes the tank is fully suctioned by the suction pipe - and filled to capacity from deep slurry pits. The light plastic tank is pressure-free, it is subject to no pressure testing and it is optimally formed. The special design with the pipe agitator does not allow any solids to deposit in the tank.

The extremely quiet and vibration-free running pump empties the tank with constant pressure. Instead of the standard baffle head distributor, a large variety of exact distributors can be assembled. Three different docking systems provide rapid and efficient suction without effort

Pumpsthat raise performance...

The HiFlo principle gives the pump a high level of performance and makes them extra quiet!> Pulsation free running

> Longer running times

> Lower maintenance costs

> Higher outputs

> Better suction ability

> Higher Pressure

On board positive rotary pumps offer the best performance for slurry output. The pump rates from 2,730 L/min up to 8,500 L/min for ECO Profitankers. The dual pump in the transverse installation of both ECO and Duo Profitankers have impressively high delivery rates of up to 13,000 L/min depending on the type of pump used.

The pump’s proven quick service simplifies maintenance work and is easily accessible for repairs. It is provided at a comfortable height this, simplifying work processes.

Pump TankersCutting UnitPump tankers can be equipped with a ROTACUT 10,000 on the suction side. This is a magnetic separator combined with a cutting unit. The ROTACUT 5,000 is the smaller unit and can thus be simply screwed into the suction pipe.

The Rotacut cuts all fibre as well as soft foreign bodies into small pieces. Hard foreign bodies such as stones remain in front of the filter. All of this is driven hydraulically.

The Rotacut can also be combined with a big stone trap. This is attached to the tanker chassis. The slurry is cleaned in this box and stones and other foreign bodies are separated. The conveniently opened port of the stone trap allow foreign bodies to be removed. It also allows inspection and maintenance work to be carried out on the cutting unit.

The detachable special cutting filter, made from hardened steel ensures the highest operational and economic efficiency with it’s own developed geometry. The Rotacut cutting system is self sharpening. Detachable hard-metal knives are pressed against the cutting seive with floating caliper spring washers.

Automatic Fill StopOur automatic limit switch has proved itself over and over again and is installed in ECO Profitankers as standard; the suction process automatically stops when the adjustable tank display says “full”. This prevents the tank from overflowing and is extremely practical.

8

Docking Hopper SystemProven over and over again

Quality - Elasticity - Durability - Experience

The decisive factor is flexibility, so that additional shock absorbers are not necessary. The elasticity largely prevents damage, wear and tear.

Elastic Hopper

The elasstic hopper is the core of most docking systems, mounted on transport, docking stations or field border containers, it allows clean filling even in the most difficult terrain. With nomi-nal widths of 150mm, 200mm and 250mm rapid filling times are not a problem. The elasticity of the integrated bellows and soft materials mean that no wearing parts need to be changed. Even on uneven terrain suction can take place accurately since the docking ball is extensively sealed with the hopper.

9 10

ZASTA Docking StationThe ‘ZASTA’ docking station by Zunhammer fea-tures a cutting unit separator and elastic funnel. An integrated check valve speeds up the intake process, since the suction hose is always filled, which saves valuable time during suction. Thanks to this external station, fuel costs are reduced and increases the payload available to the tractor.

The suction process is significantly

accelerated and the pump is protected

because it immediately receives fluid.

Stones and heavy foreign particles sink to the bot-tom via a stone-trap which can be emptied occa-sionally by the outlet valve.

Docking SystemsEfficient, clean and comfortable

Tripod hopper for deep storage:You can comfortably dock from the tractor seat to the tripod hopper without dismounting. Large NW200 suction pipes are heavy and unwieldy. They do not get your hands dirty and the tractor cabin remains clean. A docking system is also optimal in regards to hygiene. Tripod hoppers are best suited to deep slurry pits or lagoons.

Hopper station for higher storage:Hopper stations are often the key to rapid and effective slurry output. They are suitable for elevated slurry tanks and can be conveniently transported in the front power lift of the tractor. You can conveniently dock from the driver’s seat with a mobile-operated suction arm, ensuring thorough and comfortable work. The in-built 8” three-way valve is switched by radio via an electrical spindle drive from “closed” to “Free passage”. Battery charging is enough for around 1,000 barrelled cargos – depending on temperature being somewhat higher or lower. An integrated loading device is permanently mounted if the in-built charge level display gives a warning. The radio operation is secured 3 times against malfunction via a metal sensor in the rubber assessor as well as two parallel radio signals.

11 12

Suction SystemsThe NW200 MOBILE-operated pole-suction arm is lightweight and easy to use. The driver controls everything from the tractor – which is comfortable, clean and hygienic. The tripod hopper is installed once and latched for transportation in the front triangle of the tractor. High storages have a tripod hopper with automatic check valve.

The GUNY suction boom is well suited to lagoons or high storages up to 3.50 m high.

The Tornado suction boom: the telescope arm with a 5 m arm length conveys the slurry with a rotary pump and its own cutting unit at the end of the arm, and is even suitable for the most viscid slurry.

12

Steering SystemPeTra ®- Axle

All components of a slurry tanker should match each other. Tyres, tank, pump – and the chassis. The undercarriage decides the driving behaviour and traffic security of a tanker. Hence, much value is placed on comfort and quality. A variety of axle systems and steering-supporting add-ons can be arranged. The standard PeTra®-Axle is a pendulum axle with hydraulic self-steering.

Thanks to the expanded steering angle and weight-dependent directional stability, driving comfort can be improved. Optimal terrain direction is provided by the individual suspension of the axle components.

The steering angle of the pendulum axle is steeper inside than outside and offers a clean curve geometry.

Hence, tyre wear is reduced. The steering cylinder and steering links lie protected in the middle. The low position of the axle group lowers the centre of gravity, enabling quiet and safer driving.

> Stable and flexible on all terrain

> Smooth running is achieved

> Even distribution of weight on all 4

wheels

> Lower centre of gravity is gained

> Low tyre wear

> Unnecessary wear and tear is avoided

and better economic benefits are

achieved

13 14

Positive Steering System

Tandem trailers are equipped with hydraulic self-steering from 10,000 litres as standard. To enhance the manoeuvrability of the barrel, a positive steering system can be ordered for each axle. For the three axle tankers a positive steering system is installed as standard, which is optional for tandem tankers.

The optional electrical positive steering system offers a faster and bigger steering angle depending on the tyre selected. The steering is done with a steering angle measurement on the trailer hitch and the pivot point sits next to the cou-pling ring by which a small connector is reached. The tractor only has to be equipped with load sens-ing. The steering carried out by the technical control board goes forwards and backwards and is equipped with emergency stop.

The electrical positive steering system reduces wear and tear on the tractor rear tyres by approx. 50% compared to a hydraulic positive steering system on three axle trailers.

Small lever, great impact

Tankers with electrical positive steering systems are supplied with a patented steering lever as standard. This fits at the hitch of each trailer to the tractor – regardless of the make of tractor. Assembly is really simple and takes two minutes at the most. The patent steering lever can be used either on the left or right hand side.

14

Three AxlePump Tankers

The Tridem ProfiTanker transports large amounts of slurry efficiently over large areas. With their intelligent design, our three axle ProfiTankers save several tonnes of net weight compared with similar steel structure tankers.

The basic equipment itself contains important details such as lower coupling with ball air-suspended frame, positive steering system on the 1st and 3rd axle, ‘EGO’ design with large diameter pipes, automatic fill stop of the suction process etc. There is also a large selection of special accessories so that each ProfiTanker can be specially adapted to the client’s wishes. The ECO-DUO design is a high performance option, especially for Three Axle Tankers. All variants of slurry distributors are possible – either permanently mounted, three or four point mounted attachments

Air Suspension:The pneumatic suspension frame smooths out unevenness or potholes in the street just. Each axle is individually suspended with a large lift. To minimise tyre wear and tear and save fuel costs when not in use, the Tridem offers the option of the first axle as a “lift axle” or the suspension with pressure relief.

> Less pressure in the pipe system

> Lower centre of gravity for optimal

drive stability & weight saving

> Rapid filling and high outputs

> Less fuel use of the tractor

> Large tank volumes

15

Tyre Pressure Control SystemFor optimum ground-bearing pressure and trac-tion, tyre pressure can be adjusted to the soil foundation. In the field, 1 bar of pressure is used to protect the soil. The enlarged contact area reduces the ground pressure and prevents deep tyre tracks. On the street the tyres are then pumped up to 2-3.5 bar of pressure, rolling resistance is reduced, and fuel consumption and tyre wear and tear is minimised.

A screw compressor or reciprocating compressor is provided to ensure air balance. The systems can be ordered as 1 pipe or 2 pipe systems. Control is integrated into the joystick control, magic box or in the ISOBUS system.

Tyres / WheelsThe Tyre to Suit Your Terrain!

Selecting the appropriate tyres for the slurry tanker is an important decision. The permissible total weight and soil structures should be considered along side performance and the relationship between road and field driving. In order for an individual solution to be ensured for each purpose, a variety of tyres are available with different profiles.

Dribble BarsProven technology with large working widths

The side-mounted EXACUT-distributor crushes the remaining fibre parts evenly and fills the individual pipes problem-free. Stable spring-mounted guides hold the hoses at an exact dis-tance and optimally adjust to the terrain with slight pressure.

The distance-retaining bars oscillate freely in opeating position on the bracket and manage un-eveness without damage. Solid construction with double joints and a clean hose transfer ensure long durability.

The springs of the trailing hose distributor are attached to adjustable frame clamps which enable both height adjustment and width displacement very rapidly and easily. This is beneficial to manuring row cultivation, e.g. standing maize.

If the terrain is very uneven the entire pivoting frame can lift at the rear and adjust to the ground formation, so its operation is reliable, safe and problem-free.

The slurry is laterally pressed in the distributor head by a cutting sieve. Rotating cutting knives crush the long fibrous material and foreign particles are deposited in the red hose. This can easily be emptied in the field when necessary.

Our robust dribble bar distributor provides ground level and professional slurry application. The proven frame assembly with strong hydraulic cylinders reliably opens out and retracts on the steepest of slopes. In transport position the pipes are height-adjustable and leak-free above the wheels.

Farmland-Fix ® DistributorThe new FARMLAND-FIX slurry distributor is equipped with light sliding shoes which are dropped directly to the ground. The design of the suspend-ed hanging shoes allows plants to be ridged on the side and the slurry to be placed on the ground under the leaves. Plants remain clean and the slurry on the ground where it belongs. Cutting the loose ground slightly also allows seeping into the soil. However, by its design the distributor can also operate on large working areas easily.

The slurry is managed in the new FARMLAND-FIX slurry distributor with two EXACUT distributors. This has an integrated cutting unit and an integrated foreign particle remover. Fibrous materi-al is thereby crushed in the cutter head and stones cannot block the process.

Its reliability has been proven time and time again in dribble bars. An average amount of up to 4,000 l/min per distribution is possible.

FARMLAND-FIX slurry distributors are supplied with a new telescope system. In output position the telescopable lower bracket is conveyed to the ground.

21 22

Farmland-Fix ® 10m - 12m - 15m - 18m - 21m - 24m

The hydraulic control of theFARM-LAND-FIX slurry distributor is compact and mounted away from dirt in a control box, the integrated electronics continually carries out repetitive processes, thus simplifying operation for the driver. This makes hose lengths very short and easily exchangeable. Maintenance work can be con-veniently carried out at operating height.

The springs of the FARMLAND-FIX slurry distributor are attached to adjustable clamps. This enables both height adjustment and width displacement very quickly, easily and is beneficial when manur-ing row cultivation, e.g standing maize.

The FARMLAND-FIX® slurry distributor works very well, not only on vegetative stock like grass or grain but also on cultivated ground. Universal use and largely available working areas provide you with good performance and thereby higher profits.

> Accurate application due to the sliding shoes

> No contamination to the leaves

> Sprung sliding shoes adjust to the

terrain

> Slits the ground

> Better nutrient intake to the soil

22

ControlsThe hydraulic control of our slurry distributor is compact and housed in a control box protected from dirt. The intergrated eletronics continually carry out repetitive processes, thus simplifying operation for the driver. The red buttons are responsible for opening out and retracting the boom assembly

The green buttons regulate the on/off valves. Everything else is done by the intelligence of the electronics. Buttons are reserved for add on func-tions, e.g. the pole-suction arm. To connect to the tractor only two hydraulic hoses are required: a pressure port and a return pipe.

The ‘TANK-0-NUM’ counts tank fillings simplyand reliably. Two sensors on the float inform the counter only with alternately long contact. Brief deflections through sloshing around in the tank are not counted. The device has a permanent battery with a durability of over one year and requires no external power. The counter is not resettable and-thus cannot be tampered.

The ‘Magic Box’ is suitable for controls with multiple functions. It is individually programmed by us for each vehicle. This allows almost all our clients’ requirements to be met. The building- block principle can be exchanged at any time and replaceable as a spare part within an hour, despite individually adjusted functions. The ‘GÜLLE 2000’ computer display records amounts and area for billing and displays the output amount during the job.

23 24

ISOBUS ControlThe ISOBUS control makes operation of device- specific displays simpler and standardised. The ISOBUS terminal in the tractor now allows all functions of the slurry tanker to be displayed and controlled. This enhances comfort and improves data management.

Hence data can be more simply merged from the tractor and slurry tanker to the office PC and in a field database.

Van ControlThe laboratory in the Tanker

The regulation of function processes on a screen allows the driver to concentrate on steering the ma-chine. Older tractors can be equipped with additional terminals to operate ISOBUS-capable machines. Many new tractors are equipped with ISOBUS as standard.

The innovation of Zunhammer describes a revolutionary path to nutrient analysis of slurry inside our tankers. An NIR sensor continually accesses information about the slurry composition from the slurry pipe. This records not only nitrogen (N) but also potassium (K), phosphate (P) or dry matter (TM). Registration of additional ingredients is feasible.

24

The obligatory ISOBUS control can be retrofitted in older tractor units. The targeted nutirent-controlled output of manure can reduce manure costs and increase efficiency. Desired nutrient values can be set, then applied automatically at the correct rate. Values can also be saved and printed.

Transport Technology

The dual axis ZAZ1ST transporter (pictured above) consists of a galvanised, self-supporting steel tank. The pressure-free tank with two baffle plates requires no pres-sure testing.

Long transport routes require professional soulutions. Our lorry offers the key to a successful and large-scale slurry output. With containers of upt o 27m3, mountings of any kind can be supplied and are best suited as special soulution.

The docking system is preferably located on the side to reach longer over suction widths. Optionally, systems for both sides are available as a “DUO” (left and right)

25 26

Zunhammer Two-Axle Transporters are small and manoeuvrable and thus easy to operate. The compact design of only 6.4m allows two empty tanks to be drawn together. The ‘K1ST’ (pictured) can be hauled over hilly terain by 100PS / 74KW tractors without any problem. Our tanks are corrosion resistant, including a minimum of two baffle plates.

The stability of our 15m3 fibre glass tank have been proven time and again. Because of its wedge shape, the plastic tank has an optimum position between the frames for the agitatorsstirrer and optimum discharge characteristics with diffucult to handle pig slurry.

The K21T transport tanker (pictured left) for slurry is compact and has an optimum axles distance. This is the ideal solution for transport companies and slurry contractors. Simply couple and drive off .

The P.T.O agitator is driven by an oil motor. No articulated shafts have to be adjusted or column load observed. The front axle is air-suspended and both rear axles are designed as stable swing axles.

Front Docking SystemsAttached to the front power lift of the tractor, a hose is operated under or next to the tractor unit in the rear. For problem-free slurry flow, large widths of pipe are available. Refiling can be done rapidly and hygienically by using the forward docking system. The tanker remains very clean.

26

Ultra Light TankerULT - 18 Slurry Tanker

The self-supporting tank made of glass fiibre reinforced plastic (GRP) is directly equipped with two air-suspended axles, without the need for a separate chassis. The GRP construction also has high corrosion resistance to liquid manure and biogas substrate, The weight is reduced compared with comparable slurry tankers with stainless steel tanks by 40% while increasing the payload by 19%. A two axle design with turntable steering can be used with smaller tractors and a quick connection and disconnection is possible.Tank volumes from 15m3. Net weight an award winning 3,500kg.

27 28

Zuni-DrillField Injector / Grassland Injector

The ZUNI-DRILL Grassland injector is best suited for growing stocks of slurry output. Particularly for self-propelled units which press down the grass in crab steering and with wide tyres, this has been the best proof for this out-put. The slurry is laid out in small strips under the plant, the ground is only slightly cut so that the root system is not damaged. The device is hydraulically folded up at a width of 3 m for transportation.Working widths up to 13.5m

The Zuni Drill is a universal device for slurry processing on field soils and grassland. In the grassland the ground is slightly cut (2 cm deep) and the slurry is placed directly under the plants. The elements are simply changed on the field soil and can be started with soil processing and simultaneous slurry processing.

2 in 1: the cultivator helps you manage your stub-ble processing and slurry processing in one. The slurry is immediately pumped by the tanker in the perforated disk distributor where longer fibre parts are crushed again and fed directly into individual hoses. With up to 6 meters in width you can now mix straw, earth and slurry – a cost-effective and time-saving solution for optimum slurry processing.

Soil processing and simultaneous output of slurry make this new Zuni-disk-distributor an excellent buy. Manure loss by evaporation and emissions are non existant. The rubber-cushioned elements are hung individually and can lift obstacles (stones) away themselves. Serrated discs also ensure correct rotation with difficult soils. Working areas of 4.5-6 m and speeds of up to 18 km/hr produce a very high hourly output. The low traction requirement saves fuel and considerably reduces cost per hectare.
