your courage and dreams with the right knowledge. The
WCTC Small Business Center helps you acquire that
knowledge through a wide variety of affordable courses,
services, events and more.
WHAT’S NEW?
Marketing Mastermind Club - Coming Fall 2019
The Small Business Center will be hosting the new
Marketing Mastermind Club beginning this fall.
Meetings will be held the first Tuesday every month from
5:30 – 8 p.m. in the Q Building. See page 5 for details.

SMALL BUSINESS CERTIFICATE
Complete courses á la carte or attend the following eight
courses to obtain the Small Business Certificate, $380
scholarship, a FREE chamber membership and access to the
Micro Seed Fund. Attendance at 75% of all class meetings
required to qualify. There are no prerequisites and courses
may be completed in any order. We highly recommend that
you begin by attending a FaSTart Workshop.

SMALL BUSINESS CERTIFICATE SCHOLARSHIP
Certificate recipients are automatically awarded a $380
scholarship which essentially makes their education free! The
scholarship is designed to encourage every entrepreneur to
commit to a well-rounded education by completing the Small
Business Certificate. Scholarships are subject to available
funding and will be mailed with your certificate.
FREE CHAMBER MEMBERSHIP
The Community Chamber Connection gives certificate
recipients the opportunity to experience the benefits of local
chamber of commerce membership at no cost for one year.
Recipients should contact the participating chambers to explore
membership benefits. See final page of flyer for details!
Limit one free membership per certificate. Non-transferable. Restrictions
may apply. Chamber voucher can be redeemed at the participating
chamber of your choice and will be mailed with your certificate.
MICRO SEED FUND
Certificate recipients are also eligible for the Micro Seed Fund
which is an unsecured loan up to $5000, 5-year term, and
1% interest rate payable over the term of the loan.

Get the step-by-step guidance needed to launch a new
venture in this 4-hour informal workshop. Meet other
entrepreneurs who are trying to get their small business
off the ground and learn the “ropes” from an expert that
can answer: What are the differences between LLC’s and
Corporations? What licenses and permits are needed?
Is a business plan needed? Is financing available? What
other resources are available? Every aspiring entrepreneur
should attend the basic FaSTart Workshop plus the courses
